Great apartments close to old town, with sea views

The location was great, close to the old town, but with a sea view. Apartment was very spacious and had everything you would need for your stay. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were lovely. Had laundry facilities is you needed them at no extra cost( we we're there 3 weeks)

Building site right next to our apartment and no privacy on the balcony from the builders

Location

The building site that was right next to our room and balcony, so there is no privacy from the building work. I booked in August, and we could have been advised of this prior to paying on 20th December. I could have cancelled and booked somewhere else. Pretty poor from the owners of the apartment and booking.com

Excellent location between old town and beach with a great view of the beach and sea which you could enjoy from a great balcony

The noise from the construction site next door no chance of a lay in nothing to do with the hotel but the taxis we used seemed to be a rip off beware and ask prices before you travel

Fantastic stay!!!

The property was excellent. Had brand new kettle and microwave. There was plenty of glasses, cups, plates, knives and forks and pans. Shower was great, easy to use and everywhere was clean. Only slight issue was the plug sockets in the bedroom didn’t work. We got round that no problem. The apartment was a two minute walk from tapas alley, we were on the beach front and I’d say 15-20 minutes leisurely walk to the strip and the markets. Brilliant location would definitely recommend it. Also had a lift for people who struggled with the stairs. Didn’t hear any noise either.

The location is excellent and the staff were lovely

There was a building sight next door so we only stayed one night. The staff was very apologetic and gave us our money back. I would love to go back when the building next door is finished as the location and apartments were excellent.

Fantastic location but the noise was horrendous!

The location is awesome. Bordering on the old town and right by the sea.

Unfortunately, there was construction going on right next door. We was notified about this but having stayed here before a few times we dismissed it. But, it was more like demolition! Every morning at 8.00 am, the rubbish was emptied down a waste Shute into a skip. What an alarm call! But, worst of all our first room we was allocated was right opposite this. The next day we asked to change rooms but was charged an additional €75 to move. Don’t know if this was a blessing as the noise was still horrendous. Let alone the constant traffic travelling through. In hindsight, we should have changed hotels but after paying out over €700 to stay here I wasn’t going to pay out again.

The location was perfect, a stone throw from beach and the old town. Bar Spassos opposite was great and suited us perfectly.

Major building works - avoid at all costs!

Good location for the old town

Bookers beware! Major building works going on in next door hotel which results in the top-price, seafront view apartments being completely unusable due to excessive noise and workmen within a few feet of balconies, from 7am-7pm. None of this was or is advertised on either the hotel's own site or Booking.com. We've used this accommodation before but this stay was absolutely ruined due to these works. Plus, the hotel have not had the decency to reply to any communication nor offer any recompense, despite us bringing this up during our stay and having both photographic and video evidence. Unfortunately no reviews allow the uploading of videos, which clearly demonstrate the volume of noise created by multiple hammer drills, rubble chutes, etc. Sadly we will never stay here again and would advise others to avoid at all costs.

Carlos the manager was very helpful. The staff were also very friendly and helpful even though we didn't speak Spanish. The location was perfect. We had a balcony with a sea view. The apartment was spotless & was cleaned every day.

There was work going on in the apartments adjacent to ours. It was very noisy. It was just unfortunate. Didn't deter from the enjoyment of the holiday

View and location - in the citycentre. 2 comfortable rooms.

Just next to the apartament there was a building's renovation done. They woke me up and 8 am on Saturday and 7 am on Monday. And it was not just a bit of noice from time to time - it was not manable! Not only to sleep but also to stay inhouse for these hours. Noone proactively informed me about it and once I asked for a discount, I was told I will get 30% byt afterwards the guy just stopped responding. Also for night check in you have to pay additionally - nowhere mentioned within the discription. So for all travellers- do not trust the service guy and ask all the questions.
