Fab wee place! Sue is an amazing host!

Great location! Sue was super helpful with all our requests, house was nice and warm, loved the underfloor heating! Plenty of space for 2 people! Bedroom was very spacious, all facilities were great! It was even decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch!

Great stay in a lovely cottage.

Very clean and tidy and well-appointed for a break. We were only staying for 2 nights but the facilities would have been suitable for a longer stay if required. Sue was very welcoming.

Clean, well equipped and nicely furnished and decorated.

It was compact. Easy to get to other places. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and very pretty

Bathroom was cold, but it was November with frost on the ground so not surprising really

Beautiful home from home

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a very short stay. Beds so comfy. Cosy and warm. Great to have the garden area although we didn't use it. Asda 2 minutes away for shopping. Our host Sue was very welcoming and helpful.

Bedrooms spacious but living area/kitchen are a little bit tight for 4 adults. However, we were in the area for a family funeral so didn't spend long indoors.

Everything! Immaculate. Everything has been thought of. Lots of little extras which really make the difference. The garden was beautiful too. We brought our two dogs and it was perfect x

Wonderful Weekend Stay

Lovely clean accommodation with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The house is very easy to find and within walking distance to the local shops. Sue is very knowledgeable gave us recommendations of places to visit and where to eat in the area. We will be back the next time we are visiting family in the area.

Kouzelné a útulné

Ubytování nás nadchlo. Vše bylo perfektní - od předání klíčů - Sue byla moc milá, přes polohu ubytování až po vybavení a pohodlí. Jedná se o nově rekonstruovaný hornický domek v širším centru Girvanu s veškerým vybavením, kde byla navíc k dispozici káva, čaj, v lednici nakoupené mléko a voda. V přízemí je koupelna, kuchyňka s obývákem a první ložnicí, v patře pak ložnice s velkou a pohodlnou postelí a výhledem na hory. Domek není velký, ale je velmi útulný a praktický a je možné využíti zahrádku se sezením a grilem dostupnou zadním vchodem. Do centra je to deset minut chůze, na pláž zhruba čtvrthodina. Pět minut od domku je hypermarket ASDA s velmi dlouhou otvírací dobou (7-23, v neděli 8-23), jen kousek od domku nádraží a autobusové zastávky. Samotný Girvan je příjemné přímořské městečko s krásnými výhledy na hory, pláž je písečná, dlouhá a udržovaná, podél ní vede promenáda. Z celého pobytu jsme byli nadšení a ocenili jsme i množství tipů a nápadů na výlety, které jsou v domku k dispozici v objemných deskách.
