Having been born and bred in Ayrshire, it was the perfect place to visit family.

The location was perfect.

The TV wasn't a smart tv and during some wet and windy weather it kept breaking up. Not a big issue if you're out and about.

Beautiful place to stay.

Honesty Cottage is quite simply the best self catering holiday let we have ever stayed in. The position of the house was in a quiet cul-de-sac just on the edge of the little seaside town of Maidens on the Ayrshire coast. We love the area because of it being so quiet with beautiful scenery and next to the beach 2 mins away. The bungalow itself was very good, very clean and comfortable with a nice homey feel. It was very well appointed with a separate dining area and a sun room to the rear. The kitchen had every thing that you would need including a full size fridge freezer. The fully enclosed back garden was great for sitting out in and enjoying the peace in the sun. Our little dog loved it. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely hope to return to Honesty Cottage again soon. The surrounding area is full of places to visit like Culzean Castle and grounds. Turnberry is just a short drive away if you play golf, Dunure is close by with its ruined castle and great walks and sea views. Ayr to the north and Girvan to the south for a busier day out for the kids.

we had a fabulous time with everything we needed and more thank you

it’s very spacious and modern as well as being comfy- also we had our fog Fergus with us and he loved it too

I found the key box a bit fiddly and low down but we managed it

Great stay

Lovely comfortable house in a great location Nice back garden for the dogs Very clean

Owner was a bit apprehensive about the dogs. They say they take dogs but have had new carpets fitted so we’re a bit on the anxious side. Wanted to know if they were house trained and well behaved and did they chew furniture! I realised this is a new venture for them and they will learn as they get more experience I do wish them well as they have a lovely cottage in a great place May I suggest oven gloves and wooden spoons in the kitchen
