Lovely cottage in a fabulous location with absolutely the best views! I am a regular visitor to Arran and have stayed all over, but these views were some of the best. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped. Very peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. The furnishings and decor are slightly dated however in no way impacted our enjoyment and probably is one reason why the value for money was so good so don't see it as a negative at all.
There is no hairdryer (honestly I didn't check as I assumed there would be one), the kitchen wasn't as clean as it could be but I am being picky, it definitely didn't spoil the visit. Squeaky doors echoed round the house through the night which for those in the open plan upper floor was a bit of a disturbance, really clutching at straws though, this is just something I would fix if I lived there for sure.
