The lodge and location

I wasn't told by the company that the pool operated a non solo policy for the pool which was very irresponsible on their part as I was a solo traveller on this trip.I had booked specifically in order to use the pool as rehabilitation for my hip.As was I was unable to do my rehab programme for over a week as I was solo.If I had known this I would have booked into a hotel with a pool.My booking was non refundable.I am looking for some kind of refund to reflect the problems I encountered....a terrible trip

A gem in Daily brilliant place

What a gem of a place. We visited Girvan regularly and didn't know this place existed. Sadly we came up to visit my parents the last of whom we just buried. I hope we can get up and see my siblings from time to time. This 3 bedroom house was fantastic for our purpose. It had everything we needed, warm and cozy. I would highly recommend this site. It's basic, clean, quiet and mist if all accessible. We never used the facilities but there are plenty there. The staff were also friendly. If you're into fishing walking or just touring around it's ideal. WiFi, TV, and parking. Loved it

Excellent location and lodge. Earlier check in or later check out would have added to the holiday.

Too many emails, texts and phone calls. Check in on correspondence was 3pm. Was advised by phone we couldn’t check in until 4 pm. Check out too early at 10 am. Felt I lost a day both sides of my short break.

it was peaceful, the lodge had everything we needed.

the tap in the kitchen was a little bit faulty

The lodge was clean and well maintained .

The shower head in the bathroom was hooked on to the wall next to taps low down . So you had to hold the shower while washing. Would be much better secured to the wall at a descent height to wash like a normal shower.
