Appartement Caen

A convenient modern one bed apartment, with secure open air parking within the grounds of two low rise apartment blocks. Residential area but close to amenities. About a 20 minute early morn run to Ferry. Some lovely restaurants in Caen.

Very long instructions to secure access. In French! After a long hot journey i needed to quickly cut and paste the content to sort an English translation! The apartment suffered from the lack of a fan. The host apologised but had been unable to source one. Given rising temperatures it s essential in small space. Surprised no soap or shampoo surprised so do aa i do always carry supplies in your overnight bag!

Een leuke flat om van daaruit de omgeving te bekijken. Fijn dat er een balkon bij hoort. De eigenaar reageert snel op vragen per whatsapp.

Er zijn de nodige mankementen zoals een loszittende plank en het is niet heel schoon.

L’emplacement est calme et dans une résidence sécurisée. Parking à disposition et place garantît. Appartement spacieux pour 3. Propreté acceptable.

Seul point : Propreté des équipements moyenne. Pour la douche, notez qu’il n y rien, pas de savon ni gel douche … La cuisine était équipée par contre.

The freezer door falling off when touched. The shower facility. The hanging rail wardrobe door not opening. Lack of a fan. No hand soap or shower gel. Insufficient towels. No oven glove or washing up bowl. Only 1 bedside table and lamp.
