Roomy, stylish apartment for less than price of a small hotel room

I actually didn't realize I'd booked an individual accommodation until I arrived. I thought I'd booked a hotel room. What a lucky "mistake". This place was beautiful, stylish and roomy. It's a corner unit and there are windows on each side of the main room, so it's bright with natural light. The included photo shows the view out of one of the windows. The unit is not in the center of things, but is just minutes away by car. I appreciated the quiet location. Free parking is available. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's a small dining table, a couch and a TV in the salon. The bedroom itself isn't huge, but there's still a place to hang your clothes as well as a desk in addition to a comfortable double (queen?) bed. The bathroom was updated and gorgeous. The value for the money is outstanding. I appreciated the host being readily available by text and phone when I had a bit of confusion trying to enter the building. I would easily stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation.

Clean apartment in beautiful building, excellent instructions to gain entry, (but could have messaged a little earlier to explain when to expect the instructions--morning of booking), very quick to respond to messages.

Great apartment overall! Just a few tiny things for the owner: maybe swap the "artsy" lightbulb in the bedroom for one that doesn't flicker and gives more light, and the bathroom is a bit dim – I kept bumping my head on the glass light fixture (I'm pretty tall). The sofabed in the living room isn't super comfy as a couch since the seat tilts forward. Seriously, these are super minor points, the apartment is awesome.

Clean, calm, classy

Great setting, well equipped apartment, great location in an old castle in perfect quiet and calm. There's a beautiful yard in the castle grounds and the place is near walking and bicycling paths. It is very convenient to walk into the downtown area, but far enough to be quiet and give the impression of the countryside. Great bathroom, great use of space. Nice bedding and linens.

The decoration is very neutral and minimalist, which gives the apartment a very chic feeling. It is a style choice that might not be for everyone. The bedroom is a bit small and lacks storage or surfaces for unpacking, but there are solutions installed to maximize space. The fold out couch is a basic solution for adding another bed, nothing luxurious but it gets the job done.

Nice location, quietness, easy to reach centre of Caen. Shower was good, double bed was very comfortable. Easy to access apartment.

Bed was very wide so very little space (30cms) each side. Sofa bed mattress was quite thin. Would be good if there was a sharp knife for preparing food.

Superb apartment and hosts who enjoy design.

Excellent decor. all very stylish. apartment is well equipped. Comfortable bed, quiet location with ample parking on site.

It might have been lost due to our schoolboy/girl French but the key could not be found. On contacting the hosts again they arrived after about 10 minutes and showed the 'secret' location of the key box a long way from the door. Problem solved. but it incurred 30 mins of searching/waiting in the dark and cold. A simpler solution would be to provide entry details by email inc. pics as soon as payment was received.

Me gustó todo, si tengo que poner una pega sería que aunque el centro está cerca, para llegar hay que cruzar un parque oscuro, por eso optamos por ir en coche. Y como sugerencia, añadiría una lavadora al apartamento.

À notre arrivée dans ce le logement il faisait 7 degrés, c’était glacial. Nous avons mis le chauffage dès notre arrivée mais il a fallu plusieurs heures pour le tempérer, très inconfortable…. il est en nécessaire de mettre le chauffage avant, surtout vu le prix de la nuitée pas vraiment donné

L’appartement était tout neuf et très bien décoré . L’emplacement légèrement excentré est un atout car on est au calme et le voie verte en vélo est à proximité immédiate ; nous avons tout fait avec nos vélos c était parfait !

El apartamento está decorado con muy buen gusto, el baño era amplio y estaba muy limpio. Se agradece que los anfitriones dejasen gel, champú y crema corporal que además olían genial. Está genial para una pareja.

Nosotras éramos tres personas y tuvimos que usar el sofá cama, el cual es peor que incómodo, se abre totalmente en el suelo motivo por el cual tuvimos un accidente, es muy duro y ni siquiera se le puede poner bien la ropa de cama. Además no dejaron suficientes toallas y solo rollo y medio de papel higiénico.

Bellissimo soggiorno a Caen

Bellissimo appartamento in zona tranquilla di Caen (circa 10 min di macchina dal centro), all’interno di una corte e con parcheggio gratuito. L’appartamento è grande, nuovo e arredato con gusto, nonché attrezzato con tutto l’occorrente (asciucapelli, piastra, macchinetta del caffè, bollitore, Smart tv con accesso a Netflix e prime). Letto comodissimo. Assolutamente consigliato!

Wunderschönes Appartement in traumhaft ruhiger Lage. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die beste Dusche, die ich je erlebt habe. 1 Minute entfernt von "La Prairie", die sich ideal zum Laufen eignet. Zwei Fahrräder werden gratus bereitgestellt, mit denen man schnell in der Innenstadt ist, oder zum Meer fahren kann (Caen bietet sich sehr gut zum Radfahren an)

Alles top, nur unbedeutende Kleinigkeiten: eventuell ein Wäscheständer, und mehrere/größere Abfallsäcke
