Great place to stay

The location was great as it was quiet yet only €10 to get into Caen and a great base to explore the museums and surrounding area. The property was very good value for money and somewhere I would definitely stay at again if we had a large party. Really enjoyed our stay and our host was very easy to deal with and the communication was good. If you have a large party and are visiting this area, I would recommend this place.

Great place to stay whilst visiting Normandy

Individual bedrooms. There is plenty of cutlery and cooking equipment to prepare meals.

Some bedrooms didn't have anywhere to put your clothes. The upstairs shower didn't have a bracket for the shower head.

Adequate but poor location, a little expensive and no towels

House was big with 6 double rooms and all normal facilities

Location was disappointing. Not near anything with the local shops a good 10mins walk away. Main couple of issue for us 1. We had to pay the tourist tax directly to the host - This is not included or mentioned in the price 2. Bed linen is provided but nothing else, no towels or toiletries. We did ask if we could have some but got a negative response, so we had to go out and buy towels 3. Quite expensive for what it was. We got a place in Ypres, 3 mins from the town centre for 2/3rd the price, with toiletries and towels Caen is just a bit too far out if you are doing the WW2 beach landing museums in Normandy (not the hosts fault obviously)

Quiet area with lots of room for a large family.

Being a house, it is well equipped for a large family. With 6 separate bedrooms we could spread out a bit.

No major issues. I wish we could have parked in the driveway instead of the street, but the gate was tied with a rope. Parking was not a problem though. There were not many grocery or restaurants nearby, so we had to drive to find places. But we had a car to explore Normandy so it was not a major issue.

Trops froid dans la maison.

Jolie maison, spacieuse, pour plusieur personnes c est bien.

Le frigo ne sentai pas le propre, lave vaisselle egalement, nous sommes aller dans la maison au mois de décembre -3°C donc resultats impossible dans le séjour d avoir une température au dessus de 17°C un seul radiateur électrique de 2000w pour 70m2 ca fait plus que juste, idem pas de radiateur dans la salle de bain du haut, donc c est le plus gros des probleme et c est bien dommage.

LA CASA DE LOS HORRORES

Ubicación.

El mismo día de nuestra llegada, la anfitriona nos informa de que no hay toallas en el alojamiento, nos cobró 5€ por toalla y persona por unas tolallas que servían más para trapos. La cafetera no funcionaba, se lo comunicamos la primera mañana y dijo que lo hablaría con el servicio de mantenimiento, no la vimos en los días que pasamos en la casa, tuvimos que comprar la nuestra. La lavadora, no estaba, pero sí había secadora, no sé muy bien para qué. Edredones y almohadas sucios. Moho en las paredes. Una de las 2 duchas completamente inoperativa por la cal. Nada de mobiliario en las habitaciones, en la planta superior no hay armarios, ni mesillas, ni cajones en ninguna de las 4 habitaciones, sólo una vieja mesa de escritorio donde pudimos colocar la ropa doblada. En una de las habitaciones de la planta superior, ni, persiana, ni contraventana, ni cortinas. El somier de la cama donde dormía uno de mis hijos, al más mínimo movimiento, perdía las lamas. Ah, pero eso sí, te cobra un depósito de 150€ por los daños que puedas producir en la vivienda, es de risa.

Bon séjour en famille dans cette agréable maison.

Grande maison dans quartier calme, relativement proche du centre de Caen, avec parking en face. Toutes les chambres sont grandes avec un placard pour vêtements. Très bons matelas! Confortable salon avec très grande TV. Cuisine spacieuse. Très bon contact avec la propriétaire, toujours très réactive.

Salles de bain assez petites. Manque de luminaires dans les chambres.

Plutôt pas mal dans l'ensemble

La maison est bien située, elle est spacieuse. Les chambres sont grandes, il y a 2 toilettes et 2 SDB ce qui est pratique quand nous sommes nombreux. Lz terrain est sympa, dommage que le temps ne nous a pas permis d'en profiter.

Il y a plusieurs petites choses a revoir. Pas de poubelles dans les SDB, une chambre n'a pas de lumière. Le ménage a été fait a la va vite. Nous avons retrouvé du papier cuisson sale dans le four et une cigarette dans le canapé. Nous avons eu froid, visiblement le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas..17 degrés en nous levant samedi matin alors que le chauffage était censé etre a 21.. Un petit rafraîchissement serait le bienvenu. Mais tout ceci ne nous a pas empêcher de passer un super week-end.

attention la fenêtre des toilettes en bas ne ferme pas correctement, un intru peut la pousser pour rentrer dans la maison certaines fenêtres ne peuvent pas s'ouvrir dans la pièce principale (poignées cassées), cela ne nous a pas gêner car on était en hiver, cela peut être gênant pour l'été

Belle maison, ample et confortable pour un séjour à plusieurs à Caen

La maison est très belle, bien agencée. Calme et silencieuse, facile pour se garer.

Les draps très fins (et materiel synthétique) et pas de protege matelas... attention aussi aux chaises dont les pattes sont abimées, à réparer en urgence (dangereux). Certains draps étaient meme humides à notre arrivée, pas le temps peut être de sécher entre deux usagers?
