Great apartment. Perfect for a couple or solo traveller.

We were staying on Skye for the night, en route to Harris. We found the apartment easily with the directions provided. We arrived in dire weather with heavy rain and mist. This brought out the dreaded midges! I think they were even more ferocious after so much good weather. The welcome pack was really lovely. Fresh bread, milk, orange juice and other goodies, all beautifully presented. I slept in the bed, which was extremely firm! My sister slept on the sofa. The TV was great. I hope to come back to Lealt Falls apartment, probably on my own - it would be absolutely perfect for a solo traveller or a couple.

Outstanding location and a comfortable stay.

The location is brilliant. A stones throw from the falls with amazing views from the gardens over the area. The bed was comfortable. Ideally suited for a single person or couple travelling. The welcome pack was full of useful local information.

A perfect holiday

The location is absolutely wonderful, very near the stunningly beautiful Lealt falls, old man of Storr and many sightseeing places. The stay was lovely, we’ve got everything we need, even a little bottle of homemade jam! Very quiet and peaceful during night time. Thanks so much for the stay!

A great option, comfortable and well placed for a short stay on Skye

The property is really well located off the north road and very close to Lealt falls. Its a small but really well organised apartment with lots of thought given to a travellers needs. We really appreciated the welcome pack of fresh bread, milk, juices and breakfast goodies - everything we needed for a comfortable night. The view of the coast was lovely. The guidebook was great in giving really detailed information on local attractions.

Really nothing - we found the overall prices on Skye high compared to other parts of Scotland and our apartment was higher than other places we've stayed but very reasonable compared to other options on Skye.

Cosy and great base for exploring the island.

Stunning location on a windswept slope with view to the ocean. Cosy and clean and a great base location for exploring the island including a walk up the breath-taking 'Storr' walk.

A suggestion for next renovation: open up the wall to maximise the view - it's such a wonderful view and a shame that you can only see it standing at the door. (This is not a complaint - obviously i can't request renovations!)

A cozy, quiet stay away from crowds with nice views, for a very friendly couple

The location is great, close to the sea, some 500m from the Lealt falls, not far from the Old man of Storr. Great views. The place was well equipped and very clean. We had a welcome package as we arrived, which included breakfast items like bread, butter and milk. Parking was easy. The place has a terrace, which must be nice in warmer weather (we're visiting in early May). Internet was good.

The place was much smaller than I expected; the two of us were a bit squeezed. Being close to the shore, we still couldn't access it direly; had to go around along the main road to the falls. Would be useful to have info about the welcome package, because we brought our own bread, butter, etc. Seemed a bit of a waste. As usual in Scotland, we would have preferred if the heat was turned on a little earlier, both in the morning and evening.

Kontaktaufnahme (email) vonseiten der Owner und Beschreibung der Anfahrt sowie Info, dass und wo wir einkaufen müssten für unsere Mahlzeit am Abend. Das Zimmer lag rural. Prima ofenfrisches selbstgebackenes Toastbrot wurde uns bei der Ankunft übergeben. Präsenz des Owners, der nebenan wohnt, haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Schlüsselbox klemmte. Türschloss schwierig, man musste würgen. Spannteppich zu hoch für Türe im Schlafzimmer. Hellhörigkeit von nebenan.

Ubicación perfecta en nuestro roadtrip por las Highlands. Muy limpio y cómodo. Se puede aparcar el coche en el terreno de la casa. Cocina con todo lo necesario. El paquete de bienvenida con pan y mermelada caseros, además de café, leche, zumo, galletas y cereales es fantástico. Además tuvimos un amiguito que nos dio los buenos días: un precioso ciervo en el jardín, fue increíble.
