Great location. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Great access to a lot of the sights we wished to visit.

Beds were not the most comfortable and the bunkbed was very awkward. Living room arrangement was quite strange and made visiting difficult. One of the kitchen chairs was broken. Floors throughout the house were very very noisy.

Location, well equipped, however old and tired

First impressions of the holiday home were good, however once I started to fill the fridge I was a bit disappointed in the age of the fridge but it didn’t smell so filled it . I left it for an hour checked the temperature it was fine . I decided to use a couple of the larger dishes from the open storage unit one for fruit and the other for biscuits etc the dishes were extremely dusty I could have written a message on the thick layer of dust! I hand washed them for use then I panicked if they’re dusty all the dishes will be I was a bit annoyed by this thought, however I decided there was an easy solution put dishes we would be using into the dishwasher. On opening the dishwasher I checked the filter and was astonished to find it was covered in a thick layer of gunk! So then I had to clean it which took some effort ..the gunk looked to me like sodden tissue with egg shells and assorted leaf bits. It took me well over an hour of my holiday time to clean the kitchen including the dishwasher , sink , table and work surfaces ! I was now dreading going up stairs, however the bathrooms looked clean and the bedrooms were tidy ,beds had clean sheets. While unpacking my clothes I opened the top drawer of the bed side cabinet it was full of dust so I couldn’t use that ..the chest of drawers were in the same dusty state inside! so I had to use one of the hand towels to line the drawer so I could use it ! Later that day I lent on the wooden headboard whilst taking my shoes off to my disgust it had a thick layer of dust too … another cleaning job! To sum up my experience, the house itself is in an ideal location for touring Skye. In our honest opinion the house could do with a proper spring clean ( cobwebs on every light fitting) it would also benefit from new mattress… the ones we slept on were awful.It could also do with a full length mirror. The rug in the living room is a tripping hazard in my opinion.

Comfortable spacious well located.anf well provisioned, eg binoculars.

May have been nice for a small welcome pack of milk, biscuits etc as some holiday properties do but only a suggestion. Perhaps a sensor light at back door.

Location was great, just five minute walk to Portree town centre. Lovely spacious, clean house with a well equipped kitchen. Dishwasher tablets and washing tablets were supplied.

Garden was shady so although we had gorgeous weather we didn’t sit outside. Whirly for drying clothes outside would have been useful too.

It was just a lovely property in ideal location.

Why did the site say the keys were where they weren't?.. had to phone the owner to be able to get in!
