The property was exceptionally clean and the attention to detail was incredible. The decor and furnishings were very high quality which made it very homely. Very comfortable. Stunning views from the window. Great location- just a 15 minute walk into Portree.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Walk Up. The place was a home-away-from-home. Always nice and warm- even when it was snowing outside! Wifi was great, I was able to work remotely. About a 15 minute walk from Portree village but was absolutely fine. Richard was great at communicating, we were very sad to leave.

Wonderful hosts. I won't go into detail as to not advertise the service we got as an exception. We had a minor hiccup that would have interfered with our plans and Richard went out of his way to help save the day.
We can't think of anything that we missed in the apartment and the bed was super comfy.

Truly a home away from home. Very clean and well appointed apartment in the top floor of the home of a quiet yet helpful hosts. I loved looking around at the collection of small art pieces. The spaces showed an appreciation for simplicity and comfort. We would recommend The Walk Up to friends.
It is a bit of a jaunt into town, and driving and parking in Portree during August is not easy with all of the tourists. Still, I would say the spacious comfort of the apartment outweighed the location.
