Apartment is very good, clean and the location is amazing. Everything is nearby, restaurant, shops and the metro station.

Staircase is very steep and a conventional stove is missing.

Mixed. My wife's trouble with the stairs marred our experience.

Geographic location. Located in the city centre. Comfy bed and availability of a table and chairs.

Flat located on top of a flight of narrow and very steep stairs, on the THIRD FLOOR with no lift. That was not earlier communicated. Was a big trouble for my wife who has a bad knee. Water flow was intermittent. The shower went off on my wife while she was taking her shower. Called for water-flow to be restored and was told to wait for 10 mins. We stayed two nights and experienced water flow cut-off on two separate occasions on two separate days. On each occasion I had to call for restoration of water flow and was promised that my request will be communicated to the restaurant on the ground floor. Not quite sure what the restaurant does with water supply.

Great apartment & excellent location

The location is great, it's really close to the metro station and there are a few restaurants literally downstairs. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, very suitable for a family stay.

What needs to be mentioned that there is no heating, just small heaters that were not enough to keep the bedroom comfortably warm during the night. Also, our apartment was on the top floor with quite steep stairs. Was not a problem for us, but something you need to be aware if you are traveling with a heavy luggage or have mobility issues.

I was positively surprised.

My room was quiet. It was like a small flat with two rooms, a bathroom and kitchen area with sink and fridge. The host was in the restaurant next door. He was friendly and efficient.

It was ok but the bathroom was very small. The stairs were very steep, but they worked.

Delightful apartment - main tourist areas v accessible

The staff were friendly and helpful but with limited English. They directed me to the metro station. The restaurant discount is a great bonus and lovely food. The apartment is tastefully decorated and spacious. The bed is luxurious. Washing up liquid and teatowel for mug washing.

Information about how to reach the property. It is 3 metro stops on a direct line from the railway station - but instead Google maps took me through an unsafe area - where a kind woman recommended I used a different route. Later the metro attendant guided me to use the 33 bus direct to Grand Place and the 48 direct to the station, but that information inside the flat would help future visitors. Three flights of steep steps were involved to reach this beautiful apartment - not an issue for me but I don't recall reading that beforehand. Sadly an inconsiderate group of English guys were noisy coming in - otherwise I could have slept for days.

It was small but had everything I needed.

It was small but had everything I needed. Hosts were nice. The area of the apartment felt safe and wasn't too loud in the evening. Supermarket just around the corner. Shortish walk into the centre of the city and from the train station.

The microwave was really dirty, so I had to clean it before I used it. You could hear all the noise from inside the building - people walking past, people using the toilet upstairs and people snoring. The showerhead holder was broken. There were no windows in the bedroom

Perfect location, super amazing staff, the restaurant downstairs has a diverse and delicious menu, and you get a discount. Place was clean, bed is comfy. There is a minibar not a fridge.

The portable AC is working but isn’t any effective, opening the window yields better results to cool the place. The apt is hot inside I think it will be perfect in winter. The stairs are very steep, if you travel with suitcases and heavy luggage that place is not suitable. I got the top floor apt and had to drop my luggage somewhere else I couldn’t take them up. The place has a minibar not a fridge.

The location is not bad with lots of nice restaurants around and walkable to the center. The discount on the restaurant. The kindness of the owner.

The room is very small, the air conditioning is a joke, the toilet is minimal, the bed is hardly acceptable. The stairs to reach the room are not convenient. No TV.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I was extremely happy with this property. It was so clean, the host was very communicative and the location was perfect for us. We used Brussels as a base for a few nights and went out to different towns. The studio is extremely close to metro and the train station. We could also walk easily to the sights that we wanted to see in Brussels. The studio is just around the corner from several wonderful restaurants and shopping. I could not have hoped for a better outcome. It is also affiliated with one of the neighborhood restaurants which was very good as well. We had struggled to find good wifi all week in our travels in Belgium but it worked very well in the studio.

A very comfortable well located appartment.

Location was excellent.

It was not possible to regulate the temperature of the apartment as the thermostats on the radiators are missing. Now that the weather is warming, it means that the apartment is too hot to sleep comfortably. Opening the windows at night is not an option due to the noise from the restaurants/bars below. This needs fixing. Also the kitchenette could do with a sharp knife and a pair of scissors.

Too noisy. We hear every thing of neighbors and as I slept in sofa bed of living-room, the road was too noisy to sleep. Early in the morning there is a truck to pick up the rubbish or glass, people talking loudly in the street.

Great location, cozy apartment!

The apartment was very cozy. Small kitchen had all we needed for a breakfast in the room and coffee machine. Location was great, close to metro station and 20-30min to downtown, and just 3 metro stations to Gare de Midi. We enjoyed also the 2 art pieces with the 2 monkeys 😊.

It was about 3rd floor :) with just stairs as option.

The only window had opaque glasses and got into a restaurant interior courtyard, with constant frying onion and garlic smell perceived in the room…the overall room was small dark and a bit claustrophobic, no desk and chair available , the narrow stairs to get in the room were dirty and creepy

We arrived at midnight and the host was nice and responsive. The apartment was spacious.

The apartment is very close to restaurants and at the weekends it gets loud. Very loud until late and the windows don't have any soundproofing so it is impossible to sleep. While we were staying there there was a heatwave. There was an air conditioner, but we couldn't keep it turned on for long because the condensation line was dripping in a jar that filled up quickly and had to be changed frequently. P.s. to sleep through the noisy night, turn on the fan. It drowns out the noise.

Newly renovated. Nice furniture. Close to metro station and just 2-3 stations away from main attractions. Located in a nice area with shops, restaurants and bars. Plenty of facilities nearby. Overall clean, especially in the bedroom and bathroom. There are two mobile ac units installed, but we did not needed them.

If you are bothered by the noise, this is not the place for you. The apartment is on a street with restaurants and there is a lot of noise till 1-2am, and then from 7-8am there is again noise from the garbage trucks. The noise is pretty intense also with closed windows. Cleaning could have been a bit better. There were stains on the sofa cover and paint marks on the floor. There was an unpleasant sewage smell in the bathroom.

Great location, friendly host, good value

Our host Mr. Georges was very friendly and accommodating. Checkin and check out was easy and quick. The location was great, easy access to the trains and buses, many restaurants downstairs, walkable distance to Grand Place, etc. We had room 2A. The sofa beds were already prepared when we arrived, which was very thoughtful! Bonus: 30% discount at the restaurant downstairs

Our room 2A didn’t have air conditioning. The restaurants and bars downstairs were very lively til past midnight even on a week night. We had to choose between leaving the windows open or close them to keep the noise down.

Bien située et endroit sympa.

Appartement très bien situé dans la ville. L'espace est suffisamment grand et la décoration est très sympa. La chambre séparée est grande et la literie très confortable. La salle de bain est pratique et comporte tout ce qu'il faut.

Il n'y a qu'un petit chauffage d’appoint à bain d'huile ce qui est trop peu au mois de janvier. La lumière à besoin d'être réglée. Beaucoup de spots sont défectueux.

Super logement, propre, spacieux, bien placé, facile à trouver, les clefs dans une boite à clef pour notre arrivée tardive. Tres cool !!!

- L'insonorisation entre les apparts! Malheureusement pour nous il y avait un groupe de mecs qui avaient loué l'appart du dessous ou à coté, et donc un peu de bruit assez tard (2h du mat, mais ok avec des boules quies!). Cependant, ajouter des panneaux dans les couloirs ou bien mettre dans l'annonce de faire attention au bruit aprés 23h pourrait être cool et sensibiliser les personnes. - Dans notre T2, le canap du salon est un canapé et non canapé lit, donc ok pour une personne mais pas pour 2, et le confort passe pour 2 nuits.

Neu renoviertes Studio mit Schlüssel-Schnitzeljagd an zentralem Ort

Schönes kleines Apartment in eine renovierten Privathaus. Die Renovierung ist noch nicht vollständig abgeschlossen, so ist zum Beispiel das Treppenhaus noch nicht zu 100% fertig. In der Wohnung jedoch war alles prima und IKEA-gemütlich. Es gab zumindest ein paar Basics wie Zucker oder Kaffee. Shampoo und Duschgel vorhanden.

Die Schlüsselübergabe war etwas versteckt und das angegebene Restaurant existierte gerade nicht wegen Renovierung. Letztlich habe ich aber jemanden aufgetrieben, der den Schlüsselübergeber ans Telefon gebracht hat und der hat mir einen Code mitgeteilt, mit dem ich einen Schlüssel abholen konnte, um ins Haus und in die Wohnung zu gelangen. Letztlich habe ich vom Vermieter nie etwas gesehen, aber alles hat geklappt.
