This was the best experience we've ever had with a short term rental! Goran and Katarina were amazing hosts: they anticipated our needs, were quick to respond to requests, and so, so welcoming. They shared helpful hints about our stay, including restaurant recommendations, how to get around, and what food to try. They would drop by each day to see how we were doing and if we needed anything (though we never did because they had always already thought of it). We really felt like we got to know them during our stay, which is rare with hosts these days. Beyond our hosts, the place itself was lovely. The terrace had a beautiful view and got some shade in the afternoon, the beds were comfy, the air-conditioning worked well, and the place was really clean. It was about an hour to walk to the Old Town which wasn't an issue for us because we wanted to be away from the noise and crowds (it was about a 10 min drive). It was a short walk down the hill to a nice beach if you wanted to cool off. There are a couple nice restaurants (Restoran Capasanta), a nice bakery (Pekara Prcanj), and a couple smaller places for groceries nearby. We can't rate our stay any higher, it was incredible. Everything was perfect – beautiful view from the terrace, clean and comfortable apartment, but above all – the owner is a wonderful person! He made delicious, home-cooked meals for us and was very helpful. It's clear he cares deeply about his guests 😊
