Beautiful area, decent room, but out of area with shops, food, easy transport

Stay with a nice of you over the Lake, room has a Kitchen and facilities, good WiFi good help from host

The bed was a bit noisy when moving, no flexible public transport around, not much shops or eating possibilities around

The balcony offers a stunning view of the most beautiful city I have ever seen.

The room was clean and well-kept, with a kitchenette and all the necessary kitchen equipment. The host spoke English which was helpful, and allowed us to check in early for which we were very grateful. We had a very pleasant stay. It is truly a charming place.

Good value for money, good location with Amazing view of Kotor.

We could communicate via WhatsApp with our check in time, easy to get the keys and with parking just by the building. We like this side of Kotor as you can see the Old Town which is nice and quiet and not too busy, rather than staying at the Old town side. We were 3 hours late than plan as we got stuck with a long wait at the Bosnia to Montenegro border. Good to get a Restaurant near by which opens till 10pm otherwise we could not get dinner that late. The view from the Balcony is Stunning!

The shower and the room is a bit small. We were there for a night so that was ok.

Small space for 3 people but it was O. K. for a single night. You need a taxi or a bus to the old castle because parking is too expensive.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great and the view is stunning. Everything was clean and organized. Will definitely be back next time we are in Kotor.

Not what previous comments described

The apartment has a good price-quality, as well as a free parking slot and a great view; that can’t be denied. Ana was very friendly in person, she even had the gesture of serving us apple juice at our arrival.

However, the overall experience is more than just the price-quality, in the last 3 years I’ve booked +35 places through Booking and this is the first time I’ve had a terrible experience. Ana never answered my booking messages, she also got very stressed every time we mentioned something wrong with our room, as if it was our fault. When we first used the bathroom and the shower, we realized water leaked out from both; and although Ana left a mob at the side of the door, she never mentioned anything. We also realized that the air conditioner didn’t work properly (trust me, this one is big when minimum temperature at night does not go below 25 degrees Celsius). The drain grate was totally rotten, and Ana’s solution was to cover it up with a rug. When we mentioned all of the above to her, she said it was a previous guest who managed to destroy it all… which didn’t sound completely true. Finally, we kindly asked Ana to change rooms, which she said was not possible because everything was fully booked, which was not true either, as we so keys attached to the door locks in multiple rooms. Probably our bad experience was more related to the room than to the place as a whole, but we will definitely not stay there again if we ever get to visit lovely Kotor.

Nice house in a nice place

House was good, clean and comfortable. House had nice balcony with nice view, it was nice to sit there. And comfortable saloon. Kitchen has everything we need. Host Anita was nice, she was being helpful. We really glad we stayed there.

It was little bit far away from city centre (30 mins by walking) but area of house was quite, peaceful and away from traffic. Also I wish there was salt in the kitchen :D

Excellent apartment with amazing sea view

Amazing apartment with exceptional view of entire old town and boka Bay sea view. The apartment was massive for me as a solo traveller and was decorated very tastefully. My host Anita was very polite and courteous and arranged everything that I asked for and also helped me take the luggage to the room. This is away from the hustle bustle and loudness but only 20 minutes walking distance from the main city centre and old town. Beach is just 100 metres away and a convenience store just few yards away. Everything was made available in the apartment like cooking utensils, hair dryer, bed linen and towels and hand wash and toilet roll. Kitchen appliances included cook top and over refrigerator and a kettle. Everything for Cooking and eating utensils, cutlery, glasses, chopping board and knives etc were there. There was also a large tv in the living room with English channels running thankfully which was handy in case weather is bad or you want a relax afternoon in the apartment. The best part of this apartment was its massive balcony overlooking the sea and the old town which provides an exceptional view at both night and day. I wished I could have stayed longer Xx

I recommend this place, maybe it is far from the city center, but the road to Old Kotor is unique and beautiful. The apartments Simun are located in a quiet area, the rooms look just like in the pictures, and the owner is a very hospitable person who will always help the guest.

Rooms were very clean and tidy with a fantastic view from the balcony. The host was really accomodating and very polite and helpful which made the stay that much more than it already was.

Everything is excellent. Just from hotel to old Town 2-3 kilometers on foot. But we knew this.

The host was so kind and welcoming! The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen with all necessary cooking tools. Bathroom had hot water, clean shower, and good water pressure. Air conditioning worked great. View from the balcony was wonderful. Great location overlooking the bay of Kotor. Free parking!

Excellent view from the balcony overlooking the Kotor Bay! You can’t imagine a better place to enjoy your morning coffee. Also, the host was truly wonderful! She was extremely nice and made sure we feel ok. Room was very well equipped, including all needed facilities.

Wifi could work better. It says that the apartment is close to the beach - I wouldn’t really call it a beach, it’s just a small entry to the water right next to the street. It’s about 3 km to Kotor beach and to 2,5 km to the Old Town (but on the other hand the location was quiet and peaceful)

Very good

The host is a nice person and helps with anything you ask. She checked us in immediately after we arrived. She recommended a restaurant about 10-15min walk and we were very satisfied from the food and staff of that place. Prices are also very affordable. The sea view of the room is beautiful and the balcony is comfortable. There is also a free parking spot a few meters from the building. There are also nice beaches very close to the apartment. There is a very small market close by but you can find most of the things. The other market is about a 30-35min walk towards the center. The location is perfect since it's not very far from the center but it's far enough from the noisy streets of the city.

There was a problem with the humidity in the bathroom and it's hard to ventilate it especially after a shower and there is water everywhere. The bathroom is also very small. The refrigerator was too loud and not pleasant during sleep.

The price/quality ratio is really good for Kotor. This place is really affordable and has everything you could want, like: Parking, A/C, kitchen area, nice view and comfortable beds. It's also not that far from old town of Kotor and you can certainly walk there(although the pavement mostly doesn't exist). There's also a nice and cheap store nearby.

Extremely responsible host, Anita always can give advise about sight seeing or any other help you need. She let me feel like home and was one of the best hosts I ever had . I stayed in the room with a balcony from where you can have the best view at Mue and opposite side of Kotor bay. It is so beautiful. Rooms have everything necessary, tv, kitchen, extra blankets. There are good places to chill around if you turn left from the appartement and drive a little bit . Area has few good beaches . Usually season start from June- July here . I stayed in May and some far located restaurants were empty , but if you like exploring , there are for sure places up to your taste. There are also places to hike around. Next to the house I could find a small supermarket with always polite staff. The best way to get around is to have a bike , bicycle or small car here . 10 - 15 min by bicycle and you are in old town. To get to Dobrota takes a little bit longer but views worth it . Stay was really great !

Clean, cheap and cozy place on a great location. You'll get a free private parking spot and whatever you need just ask the owners, they're very kind and helpful.

You can't really party late at night because the neighborhood is quiet and the owners will ask you to keep it down.
