This contemporary ground floor apartment is situated a stone's throw away from the waters edge of the stunning Boka Kotorska Fjord. The restaurants, bars and shops of the medieval walled town of Kotor are just a short walk around the head of the fjord (approx 15 minutes stroll). The apartment has a large private terrace to the front (approximately twice the size of the balconies of the upper floors), fully fitted kitchen area (including dishwasher), living/dining with double sofa bed, bathroom and bedroom with its own balcony also affording a view of fjord. Lovely apartment, exactly as described. The view each morning was beautiful and different. Communication and access to the apartment was excellent. Steady 25 minute walk into the old town (for a 60 year old with sciatica!) but lovely, reasonably priced restaurants there. Would rather stay this side rather than the busier old town side (quieter and better view). Highlights were going up in the cable car and walking up near the Ladder Wall to sample the home made goat's cheese and pomegranate juice (mind the 30 goats though!). Would highly recommend the apartment and area. Wouldn't recommend driving to Budvar for a year or two though due to the roadworks.

The apartment was extremely well equipped with wonderful views of Kotor old town and the fjords. It was ideally situated just far enough out of Kotor with a very enjoyable 20 minute walk to the old town. We enjoyed the pool and most days we used it had it to ourselves. The check in was so easy having gained the keys prior to travelling. Max is an excellent communicator and replied to any questions within the hour. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful country.

The apartment is comfortable, the scenery is amazing and the pool was put to good use. The local roads leave a bit to be desired, not for the faint hearted. We had a wonderful week and did a lot of sight seeing.

This is a nice little apartment for 2 with amazing views across the Fjord.There is no wifi but the Free Telekom SIM available from the Tourist Information Booth in Kotor gives 500GB of data for 15 ( we used about 9GB in a week)Kotor is beautiful if overrun with cruise ship passengers.Cable Car is an experience worth doing as is a boat trip around the coast, both very reasonable.

No internet at all at the property but clearly states there is. floors were dirty throughout. Used toilet roll (only half toilet roll). Used bar of soap, in bathroom. Bathroom bins still full from previous guest. Air con in living room area only. Stand up fan in bedroom. Bulbs were dead in the lamps. One bath towel and hand towel each for a week. Pull out sofa, full of dust. No description of a steep hill to walk to get to apartment till the final instructions. Used the taxi service the host recommended and they couldn’t find the property with the 3 word location. You pay for the view at this property as it’s stunning. With a little care and attention this property could be great. I have visited Montenegro 3 times in the last year and this property was not up-to the standard I had been accustomed too. If the description was accurate I would have not picked this property.

The Apartments was clean and had a spectacular view of the bay of Kotor. The swimming pool was nice and not crowded. It was around 25 minute walk to the old town and around 15 minutes walk to nearest shop/bars. Commication was good. The keys were sent in the post several weeks in advance so it was important I didn't forget them before leaving home . No wifi at the property which was a little annoying considering it said there was internet on the Vrbo booking site. However local internet data coverage works fine. Overall I would recommended to others.

We had a fabulous week in the apartment, as per previous reviews there is absolutely everything you need in the apartment, it is very well equipped but the main attraction is the stunning view from the terrace, completely breathtaking. The only downside would be the water pressure in the shower, it is poor, not sure if that is the area or the property as speaking to some other people staying locally they did not have this problem so not sure. Also we did not hire a car but worth mentioning there were cars parked in the allocated property space for most of the time so we wouldn’t have had anywhere to park! Having said that neither of those things would detract from recommending the apartment, walk into town was about 15/20 mins but very flat. We had a fabulous week and enjoyed everything the apartment and kotor had to offer, amazing

Max communicated everything so well. Sent us the keys prior to the holiday. The weather was not kind to us and we thought we would use the TV but this did not work, that said we don’t normally go on holiday to watch TV. Great view of Kotor. Apartment clean and very well equipped. Max did communicate some current building works, the noise did not intrude on our holiday, however the entrance was blocked in heavy rain and slippery due to the builders mess running down the hill. We thank Max for his wonderful communication from start to finish and also for letting us stay in his apartment.

The apartment has incredible views across the Bay of Kotor. It is clean, comfortable and convenient for stays in this beautiful part of Montenegro.The apartment has everything to make a stay there very enjoyable. Sitting on the patio for breakfast and evening drinks, while enjoying the views, made every day special. The pool added a luxury in in the glorious sunshine.We travelled around Montenegro on local buses from Kotor during our 10 day stay. Kotor bus station is only a 20 minute walk from the apartment. There is parking at the apartment if you have a car.There is a bakery along the road into Kotor, selling delicious, local cakes, savouries and breads. Then Old Town Kotor is just around the bay,.There isn't any wifi at the apartment but every establishment has free, often secured wifi, so we just logged on each day as we travelled near or far.Contact with Max the host when booking the apartment was quick, easy and informative. We didnt need to contact him during our stay, but I'm sure if you did have any queries, he would respond in a timely and helpful manner.We would definitely recommend staying at this apartment for a stay in beautiful Kotor.

The apartment had a great location with beautiful, uninterrupted views over the Fjord. It had the morning sun which made breakfast on the large terrace a delight. The kitchen was really well equipped which made self catering easy. Everything that you needed was provided, even down to needle and threads! Very warm, clean and spacious. It was only a short walk to get to the old town, which was lovely, shops, bus station and taxis. We stayed mid October and the apartment block was quite quiet.

Stayed for 10 days with my husband . Apartment had everything we needed for a home from home stay . Air conditioning in the lounge/kitchen and diner . Pool area was very welcome as the temperature was very hot . Communication with Max was easy and questions or queries answered quickly .

Great communication with Max , He let us stray longer in the apartment as our next accommodation wasn’t ready and it was raining . The apartment has beautiful views and the pool area is wonderful with plenty of comfortable loungers . The apartment has everything you need to self cater , even enough of everything that it’s worth filling the dishwasher . We used the bed & bed settee as one of us snores and one is a very early riser . Both really comfortable. The only slight downside was no Wi-Fi , we managed as we had friends staying nearby and latched onto theirs . The walk into Kotor is 20 mins and there are no paths , but felt perfectly safe if you took your time and pulled in if 2 cars were passing you at the same time , though taxi back was always less than €5. Easy to visit Tivat using the bus that passes hourly , by flagging it down outside the apartment. I took my paddle board and used it every day . Early morning the gorge was like glass , I saw a turtle one day and it was nice to stop on the other side of the bay in Dobrota for a coffee / beer . Will definitely be recommending these apartments to everyone . Kotor is absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy .

This is a ground floor apartment in a block of several self contained apartments which all share the pool which is a few steps from your terrace and never crowded. This property is situated 3mins walk from the bay, 10mins from the nearest bakery and shop and 20mins to Kotor Old town where you will find many restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc. If you didn't have a car you would be fine, however there are many lovely places to see in Montenegro so worth exploring further afield. The apartment has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, sun to dry your clothes and towels, terrace to watch the world go by. Air conditioning is very effective and much needed in our stay at the end of June. The view is of Kotor Bay, stunning mountains of limestone that spring up from the sea, also you can watch the many boats and yachts that visit, plus many cruise ships that come for the day. I don't think you can tire of that view. The host, Max, is very good at correspondence and offers many hints and tips on how best to get there and whilst you are staying. The mosquitos are particularly feisty so I would recommend good midge spray and cream to soothe, also the wildlife, birds, views across the country are immense, binoculars would be ideal so you don't miss out. I would wholly recommend this property, region, country, holiday and host! Helen & Andrew

We have just recently returned from a wonderful stay. Amazing views from the terrace, working in the cruise industry, we had a great time spotting all the cruise shops coming into port. The apartment was fantastic, fully equipped with every utensil, extremely clean & very comfortable. In fact every you need for a wonderful holiday. Swimming pool was literally a few yards away from the apartment, it was never crowded, more relaxing. Unfortunately the WiFi was a little hit and miss, but that was probably because you was located between the mountains! It took approx 20-25 mins to walk into Kotor Old Town, but a taxi would only cost between 2-3 euros each way. A big shout for Red Taxi they were fabulous, thank you for the recommendation. Kotor Old Town is absolutely stunning, full of beautiful little cobbled alleys with lovely restaurants, bars & shops. Starter, main & a couple of drinks was approx 45 euros, in a decent restaurant. We took a boat ride out to Lady of the Rocks & Perast, wonderful few hours and Perast is a gorgeous town, cost of the boat trip was 15 euros per person. Thank you Max for a wonderful stay in your apartment, we would have no problem recommending to our family, friends & colleagues. We fell in love with Montenegro & can’t wait to go back.

We had a brilliant stay in Montenegro. My husband is a keen cyclist and really enjoyed cycling the hills and mountains around Kotor Bay, including the zigzag road with the 25 hairpin turns! I enjoyed wandering around Kotor old town, swimming in the pool and the bay and watching all the water traffic. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped, and had everything that we needed. The view over the bay, mountains and old town is really lovely!

Just returned from a week at this lovely apartment on the Muo complex and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Very comfortable with everything you could possibly want. The view from the apartment is just as the picture with boats coming and going. The view of the city walls at night and the reflections of all the lights in the fyord is spectacular and the sunny balcony was a great place to sit and have breakfast and plan the day. Very quite day and night and we slept very well. There is a very nice communal pool with sun beds, which serves this block and quite often we had the pool to ourselves. The walk to the old town is approx 20 minutes, but the road can get busy and there is no footpath in parts, so care needs to be taken, but taxi,s are very reasonable €4 -€5 although we did get charged €10 by a taxi in the rank opposite old town. We flew from Manchester to Tivat with EasyJet. The taxi transfer (pre booked with Red Taxi,s) cost €10, 20 minutes from airport on the advise of Max the owner, he gave us lots of advise and was very prompt to answer our emails. Would throughly recommend G & J Flint

Our stay in this property was excellent. All communications with Max the owner was quick and informative, the apartment was very modern and clean and the facilities were excellent, everything you could possibly need is catered for. The views of Kotor are breathtaking and you would struggle to beat it anywhere. Nice walk into Kotor ( around 25 mins ) but not much in the way of footpaths on parts of the road so you need to be careful if you have children. Kotor is beautiful with small snickets full of shops and bars/cafes and the food and prices are comparable with the UK or maybe slightly cheaper depending on where you eat. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who is wanting a nice peaceful break with a view second to none Steve and Dawn

No question was ignored by Max.On arrival we found the apartment exactly as expected, infact no it was better, much better. The level of cleanliness and range of equipment is superb. The magnificent views cannot be described to be honest, you simply have to be there. The aircon system was very important to us and certainly lived up to standard - very, very effective across all rooms. The fridge, washing machine, dish washer, iron and shower are all top quality and with simple instructions left by the owners. I could go on and on.......Kotor old town, about 25minutes stroll away, is breathtaking and hosts many great restaurants and small shops. There are several grocery shops and a decent supermarket en-route to the town. Prices are similar or less than UK, however we did feel the food was better than what we would get for a similar price at home.If you are considering Montenegro don't go to Budva, which is quite frankly like Magaluf with Russians, come here instead. The apartment was clean and very well equipped and was a short walk into the Old Town. There is plenty to see and do, we enjoyed a boat trip around the fjord, walked the old town walls (not for the faint-hearted)! We also hired a car for a few days and saw some of the sights outside of Kotor, all of which were stunning - Ostreg monastery, Lovcen and Skadar National Parks, and visited some of the surrounding towns and villages which were all beautiful and interesting, in particular Perast and Cetinje. The local people were all very nice, friendly and helpful. We ate out most evenings, and there are restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets - all of them were good. I would definitely recommend this property.

What an absolute gem of a property. We could not have been luckier. Communication from the owner was superb and we easily found our 'home' for two weeks. Everything you needed was there which made the self-catering aspect of the holiday so smooth. The views across to Kotor Old Town were stunning and many an evening was spent watching the 'goings on' of the Fjord. Montenegro itself is a wonderful country and never having returned to any other previous holiday destinations (not because they were poor but because we have wanted to explore other places), we are so looking forward to returning next year. The property itself was immaculate and I can honestly think of no downside to our two weeks. I would highly recommend both the country and this specific property to anyone wishing to explore.

Communication from the owner was excellent before we travelled. Answered all our questions and in good time. The apartment is comfortable, with room to spread out and feel at home. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more) in the kitchen. Great large fridge and freezer area (fa for ice cubes) too. Lots of nice homely touches including dvds, books and magazines, lots of coat hangers, a hairdryer, even a plug adaptor and fly swatter (which we needed occasionally on the terrace) and lots more. Always had hot water. The small outdoor pool was great for a quick dip and was surprisingly warm most times we went in which was lovely. Private parking space was a blessing. Without doubt, the best thing is the terrace, and in particular the views of the fjord, mountains and boats ranging from huge cruise ships, to 'wow' super and mega yachts, to tall ships, to water taxis. You also have an amazing view of the old town and city walls, which are lit at night, and I really don't think the view would be the same from the other side of the bay, and of course, you would not see this is you were actually staying in the old town. The only thing to be aware of is that the apartment is up a steepish lane of about a minute walk, and the walk to the old town took us a bit longer than 15 minutes. However, these things were ok for us. And, well worth it for this fabulous location. You will not need to put the tv on, there is so much to see on the fjord! Plus we got a taxi a few times and it was only 2 euros 70 cents between the apartment and the old town. We thought this was good value and would stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this apartment at the end of May and had the most incredible week. It was our first time in Montenegro and it provided the perfect base for exploring such a beautiful country. The views across Kotor Bay from the apartment were outstanding (the photos don't do it justice) and it was just a short walk into the old town which is full of bars, restaurants and is oozing with history. The apartment itself was exactly what we needed. It was spacious, clean and comfortable and the terrace and pool were definitely a bonus. You couldn't ask for much more for the price - plus Max was really helpful with providing information about the property, directions and advice about Kotor and Montenegro. I'd definitely recommend!
