Amazing location, spacious, clean rooms, great breakfast, with service always at your fingertips

The Host was really kind and patient. We were driving from Podgorica and he guided us in choosing the best route to reach the property. He was always responding to our queries and updates, patiently. He was very welcoming in receiving us, even when we were delayed (by the flight and the drive). The location has breath taking views, with a misty Lake in the mornings (in November) and a lit up city reflected in the lake in the night ! The breakfast was arranged in the restaurant nearby, and was a cherry on the top. The kids loved it!

Beautiful location, very comfortable apartment

Perfect location, very spacious and clean apartment with a super friendly and helpful owner. Right in front of crystal clear water, perfect for swimming / kayaking / supping. Free outdoor shower on the seaside to wash off the salt. Beach chairs available for free. Nice garden with beautiful fruit trees. Owner also organizes very nice boat tours. Historic town of Kotor is just 10 minutes by car.

We loved this accommodation and would definitely recommend it!

It was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Very very close to the water and the owner was amazing, polite and so friendly. He helped us with parking, drove us to the atm and provided us with anything we needed. If you are going to Kotor and have a car, pick this place! We would also recommend this side of Kotor as it is much calmer then the other side. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Exceptional Stay

My partner and I had a great, relaxing stay here. The apartments are located directly across the road from the beach, with amazing views all around. The apartment has all the facilities you might need, and great air conditioning. Super friendly and helpful host who met us on arrival to show us the room, and also helped us to book a boat tour which was really fun.

Travel to Kotor is a bit difficult - will have to arrange a Taksi each time. Better if you rent a car, makes travelling around easier.

Unpleasant Stay – Issues with Cleanliness and Payment

We booked this apartment for four nights as a group of four adults and a child. The check-in process went smoothly, and at first glance, the apartment seemed fine. The host greeted us kindly. However, the first night we noticed that all the towels and bedsheets had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. We politely asked the host the next morning if he could provide fresh linens, and although he brought new sets, they unfortunately had the same smell. When I went to change the bedsheets myself, I discovered that one of the beds was infested with red ants. Due to this, my family and I had to leave the apartment late at night and find a hotel to stay in, which was incredibly inconvenient. Two other members of our group stayed behind, but the experience for us was very disappointing. Additionally, the host only accepted cash, saying we had been informed beforehand — but after reviewing all our prior communication, there was no mention of this. We also asked several times for an official receipt and were repeatedly denied. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not stay here again.

Thanks to Vuk Popovic for the two nights stay

Above all, Vuk Popovic is an exceptional host. We loved the balcoon where we could drink Vuk's sligovica (very good) and to admire the beautiful view of Kotor-bay. The breakfast in a reataurant nearby was correct, included in the price -be careful, if you want more you have to pay the extras. There is a regular public transport opportunity to Kotor (Blueline bus), which could help the visit of Kotor, the beautiful old town.

Intensive sewer smell in the bathroom. Approching the apartment by car is not easy - narrow road with huge trucks - but this is not a problem with the facility, but must be mentioned.

The room was clean, view is nice. The breakfast served in Vila Marija is very good and big.

The room is not very cozy. The bathroom is quit spacious, but lacks the place to put your stuff. Also there was no full lenght mirror in the room, only the small mirror in the bathroom. Parking can be tricky, only few real parking spaces, rest on the very narrow street.

Excellent location and apartment with excellent host.

The apartment and the location were great, the large terrace with the beautiful view was very inspiring. The host was very helpful, always on hand, with excellent house wine. In addition, he spoke good English. In addition, the breakfast was worth the money. The restaurant nearby (where you can have breakfast) also serves good food.

The road to the apartment is very narrow and the traffic is quite heavy. Also, the waiter at breakfast was not flexible at all.

Comfortable, spacious room right at the waterside in a pretty village along beautiful Kotor Bay

Comfortable room in a big, modern house right at the bay, with a sink with cooking plates and a private bathroom. Everything is clean and bright. The owners and staff are professional and friendly, speak good English and have all the info you need. We booked the smaller room with a small balcony with view of the mountains. There's no shared balcony at the street/ bayside (all balconies with views of the bay are private for appartments with sea view), but the accommodation has a great sitting area for all guests at the water side, right across the street, with beach chairs and pillows provided for free. There's no sandy beach, but a concrete pier, as everywhere around the bay, but at Popovic it's larger than average shaded by little trees. It's a great place for swimming, you can walk right into the crystal clear water or jump from the private pier. A great extra: beach towels are provided for free and available all time. Breakfast, with fresh fruit salad and eggs, is provided in a restaurant nearby, right at the waterfront. The location is great, with interesting surroundings and beautiful views.....There are some good restaurants nearby along the waterfront and nice walks along the bay or on the hill with great views over Kotor Bay. The street is a bit busier then in Dobrota because cars ride in both directions, but it's still feasible to walk most of the time and this side of the bay is more authenthic, with beautiful historical houses and churches and fewer tourists. It's too far to walk to Kotor, but there's a bus (1 per hour in the summer in each direction).

Wonderful apartment in the beautiful location

We loved our 9 days vacation at the apartment Popovic! We stayed at 3 bedroom apartment, it was wonderful, we loved the huge terrace overlooking beautiful Kotor Bay. The apartment is located just a step from the small beach, we all enjoyed swimming there. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and little grocery stores. The bus stop is nearby and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the old town of Kotor. The hosts Andrea and Vuk are great people and very helpful and responsive. We booked a boat trip to the Blue Caves through our hosts and it was absolutely incredible. What a wonderful place, we hope to come soon!
