There was a dirty nappy sack and bags of dog poo in the garden ,arrived dish cloth stained ,stain on pillowcase and coffee stick to coffee bag ,, mop left in bucket of dirty water

Health and safety violation

The location

You get conned into thinking you are booking a clean holiday let , it's disgusting my photos will prove it the toaster was a health and safety violation as its state was disgusting there were lights with missing bulbs or not working at all the shower is covered in mold cobwebs everywhere paint peeling off the walls we were there for 6 nights and all she left us is one toilet roll and one towel each on top of that I cut my foot of the tacks on the stair carpet she tried to say I was lying because everyone who complains she makes out that they are a bad person, she also tells everyone one who complains that her cleaner sends her pictures of how clean it is well take a look at mine they show the filth do not rent this property as she is a con artist

Pleasant for a few days stay...

Dogs welcome. Free parking on road. Very well equipped kitchen including washing machine and dryer . Living room was nice. Upstairs felt spacious. Bath and shower. Views. 2 TVs and Netflix. Easy distance to walk to the sea and an excellent park for the dogs.

The back garden was big let down and difficult to access via very steep steps.....also strange sharing arrangement. A55 very close and was quite noisy if the windows were open. Steep stairs in cottage had carpet tacks sticking through in places!! Cupboards and storage spaces were not very clean in lounge and corners in bedrooms hadn't been cleaned. Around bath could do with retiling as quite mouldy..

Great access to & view of sea, but very busy highway just outside

It's a very short walk to the beach, and you can see the sea (and sunsets) out the window. Beds comfy, kitchen equipped with air fryer, oven etc. Nice walk into town along the beach but access is down lots of steps so not great if mobility issues. Can recommend Stella fish and chips in town. The two kebab/pizza places are fine too. There are not really any other food options, so better eating in e.g. Conwy or cooking at the house.

There is a very busy highway in between the house and the sea, which is very loud with trucks and motorbikes etc - not exactly the relaxing environment I was hoping for. The neighbour also kept coming into the shed by the back door - I was a bit startled to see her looking in the kitchen window (so just to warn you, the garden isn't private). The listing says toiletries provided but there weren't any. Also nothing at all in the kitchen cupboards e.g. salt, oil etc, so you do have to bring everything. The cleaner did a good job, but the kitchen and especially the bathroom are a bit tired and not very nice, and the bathroom door was concertina and didnt stay shut without something to prop it closed...but all in all, you don't hang out there very long!

Where do I begin, NOTHING! We contacted the host about a broken chair leg & scratches on the floor when we checked the property when we got there, now she’s claiming we broke it & broke other things, we booked for 3 nights & stayed 18hrs & she won’t refund the other 2 nights!

There’s a lot we didn’t like, Very uncomfortable ‘office type’ chairs & sofa, Very uncomfortable beds, needed new pillows, Very busy roadside & tunnel, Front porch step quite high for myself & 2 dogs who arthritis, very narrow doorway, it’s the only door we could use to go out to as the back door leads to a very small slabbed patio that lead to 8 very steep & unsafe steps & that lead to a small unkept ‘garden’, I’m disabled & my 2 dogs wouldn’t even go up there, Stair carpet ripped in several bits, unsafe step at the bottom due to no light at the top & at night I missed the step because I thought it was floor because it had no carpet on, Bathroom was very small, had a tight squeeze when shutting the folding door, toilet not clean, was quite dull, Tacky stick on mirrors everywhere,

The house smells and the seating in the lounge area was not very comfortable. The kitchen was in a poor state and unclean. Bathroom was cramped and not clean overall it was not very well maintained.

Great location and a nice house to stay

The location is good. Clean house . The communication is good. I was very concerned the noise since it was closed to the north wales expressway, actually it is very quiet in the house for a good night sleep.

It would be good to have cotton duvet and towel.

Sadly not great ☹️

The location of the property is great. Beds were clean and comfy (thankfully).

All of my comments have been shared with the host direct. We were offered a complimentary night but we respectfully declined. The host has promised to sort these. The property could be so lovely but is sadly neglected and in need of a deep clean and bits of renovation. The main concern is the tiled bath/shower area it’s just not acceptable, deep mould and mildew. On arrival there was a strong smell when entering the property, I think we eventually became nose blind to this. The floors either hadn’t been cleaned or not properly as there were hair and crumbs around. I don’t go on holiday to inspect the places I stay, we often stay in dog friendly accommodation so don’t expect 5* but these things were all visible to the naked eye. There were a few other issues but I have mentioned to the host and she has promised to sort them for next people staying.

Sea view cottage

Pretty cottage, well decorated. Easy to find and easy to park.

There were cobwebs in the bathroom, and only half of the upstairs light bulbs were working ( maybe that's why the cleaner missed the cobwebs). The garden was pretty and had potential to be lovely, but lots of broken items made me worry about letting my dog explore unaccompanied. The instructions and photos for check in were outdated, which meant we were shut outside in the rain for several minutes trying to find a light up key pad which didn't exist.

Fab location & cottage for families

Close proximity to beaches, shops, local amenities, local attractions and more! Dog and child friendly. Washing machine, dryer, airfryer, coffee machine, plenty of towels, dining table with 4 chairs, small yard out to the back.

Lovely location ans a beautiful view. The house was sufficient for a base whilst we explored the Welsh coast! The host was responsive and let us in an hour early so we could get to the beach sooner! Great value for money too

The kitchen could do with some different knives - specifically a bread knife! Aswell as a chopping board.

The cottage is roomy and cosy. It is furnished attractively with nice accessories. There are plenty of mirrors. The 2 front rooms have sea views.

Rather a long list im afraid. The house smells. The floors and carpets haven't been hoovered or cleaned in ages. The house is finished to a very cheap and poor standard. The stair carpet is coming away from the steps. The last step is un carpeted and laminated in the same wood material as the floor beneath. From the top of the stairs the final step disappears. I missed this step on my 1st night there and slipped and banged my back after spinal surgery 8 weeks prior. When we arrived I had to clean the toilet and the bathroom floor. There were feaces splashes around the outside of the toilet and the floor was disgusting. There were no cleaning supplies left by the host. Just half used toilet roll, some wipes, a few drops of washing up liquid in the bottom of the bottle and an empty bottle of bleach left by the toilet. So, I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean the toilet and bathroom floor.
