Family break
The cottage is in a great location, very close to the beach, pier, shops, pubs, restaurants.
The cottage was nice, was slightly smaller than what it looked on the photos online, the double beds were comfortable, the king size bed was quite hard, pillows were very soft, was nice to have the heating on timed so it was warm, we didn't light the log burner.
Lovely to sit and watch all the birds that come into the front garden to the birdbath, on a quiet residential street, we travelled by train so don't know what it would be like for parking if you had a car as there's no one street parking.
Outside lights at front were great for when you come in at night.
There were a few little things that could be done, as others have said a larger TV in the sitting room would be better due to how sofas are positioned, light in hallway only one bulb worked, the shower in the downstairs wash room drained very slowly, you couldn't flush the toilet while the shower drained as it caused the toilet water to rise up to the rim, also emptying the sink in this room caused the toilet water to rise and swish around, there was a smell of drains in the kitchen near the back door, we found the ovens took ages to warm up that we ended up not cooking anything that needed the oven, we just used the hob. Ovens need a clean.
Some of the plates had chips on the edges, and some plates had marks on them, the place mats on the dining table had dried up food on them, we wiped them all.
Pillows could do with pillow protectors on them, as much as the bath upstairs was lovely (we didn't use it) for us a shower would of been better upstairs, the hand held shower over the bath was loose and when you turned on the taps water was leaking out of the loose part and running down the tiles onto the floor. Only one bulb working in bathroom light.
We would of liked to of been able to clean the floors during our stay but there was no broom or mop, also bit more cleaning products would of been good ,there was a hoover but there was no suction when switched on.
Bigger internal door mats would be good especially when the weather is rainy, possibly a heavy duty runner in the hallway and a rug would of been nice in the living room, the whole place could do with the paint freshened up and a good deep clean.
We did enjoy our stay and would book again.

Great cottage for a large fanily holiday
Nice Cottage for a large family holiday in a fantastic location close to the promenade, beach and the pier and all the bars and restaurants that this lovely resort has to offer.
Compact walled garden for the little ones to play too with plenty of seating.
The matrasses and pillows were too soft on all the beds for us.

Needs a deep clean, front and back doors of the property let it down, needs a good tidy up and cleaning
Extractor in downstairs shower not working, no toilet brush downstairs
Garden untidy , fence panels missing at back of garden, so not very private
Loft bedroom, had sweet wrapper’s under bed

Perfect for our new year getaway
Location excellent ..in a quiet street but in the heart of the resort. Furnishings & fixtures good quality, garden an added bonus. Well equipped.
Would be perfect if it had a third shower room / toilet in attic bedroom. Maybe double/ king size beds could be the kind that could covert to twin beds for more flexibility in the sleeping arrangements

parking is on the main promenade. fine in low season but likely busy in summer. unavoidable due to the narrow street of the property. wouldn’t put me off staying again, the location makes up for the only negative

Fabulous homely cottage.
It is a family home that as 3 generations we all felt happy and comfortable in. It's a great position so close to the Town, Promenade, Pier, Beach. The decor is lovely, the cottage is very interesting, the children loved it as did the rest of us!!
Lucy the owner is indeed very pleasant and helpful.
No off street parking.
