Hôtel de l'Exposition - Tour Eiffel

I felt this hotel was too far from everything we wanted to visit except for the Eiffel Tower everything was too far, we ended up doing a lot of walking and taxis to get to other places we wanted to visit. The room was nice the bed was super comfortable, breakfast was nice too. It's just that we fell very far from the typical Paris vibe, the price was fine but I rather pay more and stay in a more central place to where more activity is. The other downfall was that the hotel did not have a restaurant and nothing much was around to eat :-(

We did not like the location, it was away from everything we wanted to visit and not much around this area. I've been to Paris before and loved where we stayed, it was close to most places we needed to see unfortunatelly I could not remember the name of the hotel so, this is where we ended up staying.

Location was nice, close to the Eiffel Tower and the walk to the nearest metro stations was fairly short too. Bus to Gare Saint-Lazare (which we needed) left right next to the hotel so that was a plus. The room had air conditioning which was needed in the 2026 summer heat in Paris. We didn't have breakfast because it's nice to get breakfast from a cafe anyway. This was a nice quiet area, non-touristy, with restaurants and bars with a great atmosphere. The room was small, but enough for two for a couple of nights.

The rooms were immaculately clean, and the location was fantastic. There were also fantastic restaurants very close by.

The staff was lovely and very helpful especially Samba who works days and was there at check in and when we checked out And the young men who worked evenings. The common area was a lovey place for our group to gather before and after dinner.

The pictures online we not reflective of the true size of the room. The room was dark and lighting was bad. I am aware that rooms in Europe especially in Paris are normally small. These rooms were smaller than shown In The pictures. The bathroom was the size of the bathroom in a small RV. The hair dryer didn’t work and after being told the would replace it that evening. I was told by Eva the clerk on duty the following day that they had no replacements and there was no one to purchase one because everyone was on vacation. The toiletries included a body hand wash and no shampoo or conditioners. The restaurant was closed for the month of August although it advertised breakfast on the website. We were told coffee was available each morning and at check out we were charged for coffee. I was responsible for booking 4 rooms for 3 nights and this lack of services was a major inconvenience for our group since we had to go out every morning for breakfast. The bar had no variety of liquors. Only Scotty and whiskey. Only a few bottles of red and white wine and a couple of evenings no wine at all .
