Staff not helpful at all, rooms are from 1800, rooms was very cold and we called reception a few times, but not anybody that can help.. i will Not recommend this hotel, expensive hotel but quality is below average.

Horrible stay

Not a happy stay. Will not go back. Will avoid Novotel in the future. Rooms: not a 4 stars standard room. The room was very small. The room was not equipped as a standard 4 stars hotel: no amenities, no closet space, we were not able to open the window, carpet in the room very dirty and smelly, bathroom dirty and old. Room very dark, even after opening all the lights. In the bathroom you will find 3 big bottles, one for hand soap, one of shampoo and one of bodywash. These were not sealed, they were also used by previous guests. This is absolutely unacceptable. This is a poor 3 stars hotel. The only strong points of the hotel are location and buffet breakfast (if you wake up early and get there before the other guests). Staff: the staff at the welcome desk was overall nice. The morning of December 9th, 2025 when I asked an info about local transport the lady with the blonde ponytail at the desk was very rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. I was shocked. This is not how to treat a client. Will not be back. Do not recommend it. Will avoid Novotels in the future.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the river view was rejuvenating as my family was with me for a vacation.

Amazing location and we had a great corner room with stunning views. Spacious room which was clean. Enjoyed the breakfast.

Our shower either came out boiling hot or freezing cold. The bathroom definitely needed an update.

Great stay!

Breakfast is good value although we had to queue for a short while to get in. The location is ideal - about 15/20 mins walk to eiffel tower and bus/boat trip stops. Has a lovely water bar in reception to fill up your water bottles - great idea to avoid single use plastic. Fridge in room. Lovely hotel.

It was a walk away from the eiffel tower. The location was on spot perfect.

My AC was not working at the greatest. The shower is abit too small hence the bathroom wad flooded each time we showered.

It was Bad purely because of the bad milk at the breakfast.

At the breakfast, the milk was gone off. I didn’t notice it was off inside the cereal bowl. And unfortunately drunk it and I had diarrhea and bad stomach cramps the next 2 days.

Location very convenient.

No atm, maid service not too friendly at times, no ability to open windows for fresh air. All windows are stationary with no opening so a person not liking air con will be inconvenienced. Surrounding area around back not too sanitary and safe to walk around esp at night.

The room was ok but it could have been cleaner. And the first night when we went to the bar to have a drink, my husband and I, as well as other guests, we saw a MOUSE running through the bar, the seats, and the kitchen. When we told the staff they did not seem surprised.

Amazing stay near Eiffel tower and seine with family!!

We came here for the spring break with kids. The location of the hotel is amazing, it's right across seine and on the main street. Our room had a beautiful view of the river. Room was super clean, very spacious, house keeping did an amazing job throughout our stay. Eiffel tower was literally walking from the hotel. It's so close to all the cafes, restaurants and many shopping places. Breakfast was good, there were lots of good options. The staff is very helpful and courteous. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wants to visit Paris with family.

The smell and after cooking smokes in the breakfast area nearby live egg station since the room lacks ventilation. Please change the location of egg's station somewhere near the window where the exhaust works better.

Room is not clean, stains on the carpet, towels and the couch. Bed does not feel clean, hairs everywhere. Shower was clogged. Breakfast is good in terms food quality, but it is very small considering the size of the hotel. There is waiting queue to get in. The air quality is poor, your clothes and hair starts smelling of baking oil.

Breakfast was good but I think you could do with two people at the egg station as the poor man never got a minute he was rushed of his feet . He was very helpful but I think he was very stressed .

The hotel was conveniently located near the Eiffel Tower, and the staff were very friendly. The pasta and chicken salad I ordered through room service were delicious and generously portioned, which I was very satisfied with. However, the elevator system was a bit inconvenient, and it was unfortunate that there were always many people waiting to use it.

Breakfast was good. Check in was a problem as I booked to stay from the previous day knowing I had a very early arrival Al after 24 hours of air travel . They could not understand what I had done and would not let me access my room until 1pm even though I had already paid in advance

Unpleasan, unfortunate, not going back to Novotel again

Nothing. Literally destroyed the Novotel brand for me. Room was stinky, spots on the carpet, crack in the wall, room not made properly.

Everything. It felt like a premier-inn property. Absolutely disgusting room quality. They don’t care because they are close to the Eiffel tower. Even the. Tea/coffee tray didn’t have milk, and I had spent 10 mins calling different numbers to get some powdered milk.

Go for the location, not for the quality.

The location is good. Very good mattress. Very helpful and polite staff.

The hotel is old and it seems it hasn’t been renovated for a while. Breakfast is of basic to poor quality, and there is a cue in order to enter in the morning. Not very clean neither. In addition, there is no lounge area to hang out, other than just 2-3 couches and a few armchairs. In general, it’s a hotel that because it’s old and accommodates so many tourists every day, it can offer very limited quality.

Good and quiet hotel close to the Eiffel tower

Location is close to the Eifel tower and other landmarks. The hotel looks pleasant. The staff in the hotel was polite and helpful and responded quick to questions. The room was quiet, there is sound insulation from the outside but not from the inside of the hotel. My partner is a light sleeper and noise from the busy outside didn't bother her sleep.

Soundproofing between rooms is lacking. You can hear people entering and leaving adjacent rooms like it's your room. The soap dispenser was empty, our clean towels had stains (cosmetics I hope?). The room looks "tired" with high wear and tear signs and could be cleaned better - stains on the ceiling, spider webs in corners, a bug dangling from the ceiling, doors that take some effort closing etc. A more thorough cleaning will greatly improve the experience and not drag so much attention to the age of the building.
