Absolutely incredible experience.

This is the most beautiful appointed and converted Stables, a home away from home. Jan and Ella are extremely accommodating and wonderful hosts. I can highly recommend Vinistrella, you will leave a changed person. I will definitely book again for a longer period.

The location is beautiful and great to have animals around. This wasn’t including any meals.

The cold! We arrived to a lovely warm fire but no wood to add to keep the place warm. Once the arrival fire died down it got extremely cold and there was no other heating and concrete floors made it very cold indeed. The weather was very windy and raining and we didn’t know where to buy wood until a couple days later when I asked again. The fireplace required extra small sized wood too. It would have been perfect if wood was provided or more rugs on the floor for comfort. I’d say this would be 100% perfect in the summer time.

Perfect accommodation for an unforgettable stay!

I stayed here with my two children, and we are absolutely thrilled! The hosts are incredibly warm, attentive, and truly wonderful people. You can immediately tell that they put so much love and effort into making sure their guests feel completely comfortable. The accommodation itself is an absolute dream – extremely clean, cozy, and decorated with so much attention to detail. There is a beautiful terrace from which we could feed the horses with carrots – an absolute highlight for my children! The animals on the farm are all fantastic: super friendly, affectionate, and well cared for. And then there’s the sunset – simply magical! The atmosphere here is so special that you never want to leave. We felt completely at home and can say with certainty: We will definitely be back! Thank you for this unforgettable time!

Will definitely return. An awesome find.

The property is easy to access, it is spacious comfortable and very clean. Loved the rescue animals and the friendly owners. Nothing was too much for them. We felt very safe at all times and the breakfast they made for my husband after a last minute request was delicious. The outside cooking area is lovely and the braai for the exclusive use of vegans is a very considerate and welcome addition. Jan and Ella are incredible hosts and knowing that they care for neglected, abused and abandoned animals is an excellent reason to support them - in addition to the very quaint and comfortable cottage, the bed was very comfortable, providing excellent support and giving us great nights sleep.

A mirror in the bedroom would be an excellent addition. A completely enclosed toilet would make the stay more comfortable. In very hot weather, guests would appreciate an air conditioner.

Fabulous Farm Stay

Amazing and friendly owners and the dogs and horses too - loved hearing about the future plans and how the interior of the cottage has been upgraded. Shower was great Load sharing not an issue Owner let us burrow her hairdryer Towels changed after 3 days Fan to cool us down available on request

Lovely cottage with nice country feel

Unfortunately, we had load shedding, not the hosts cause, but due to this, it could not have coffee early in the morning or make a hot bottle for our grandchild, host however did bring hot water and coffee at 9am. Suggest having a small gas stove for these Eskom moments.
