The Dragonfly Guesthouse - SELF CATERED

My stay was magical and everything I wanted and needed it to be for someone travelling solo

This was a lovely, comfortable and well thought out guest house. The rooms were comfortable and clean - There was shared lounge and Tv . There were also books, games and various tarot/ oracle cards to explore in downtime. The kitchen had all we needed to cook in the premise and we had some nice breakfasts sitting at the table in the garden Although not all rooms had en-suite we did not find this an issue as there was a designated loo and shower room. Overall this was a bit like a peaceful house share experience with all privacy respected. I would recommend staying here for lone travellers or friends/couples wanting to explore Glastonbury. The town center is 5mins walk away and the start of a walk to the Tor around 15mins walk away. We will be returning!!

Noisy guests

Breakfast: cereals (muesli) supplied but no milk. Black tea supplied, but no milk. Water works for the cereal but not for the tea. I was unwell and unable to walk to the town to buy milk. I met the house manager, Joanne, who was friendly and pleasant.

I would have appreciated a warning about the lack of milk among the extended directions to the house. Four days without Yorkshire Blend is five too many. I was also completely unable to get online from the Garden Room or the kitchen.
