Magic of Avalon

Das Magic of Avalon liegt etwas ausserhalb von Glastonbury, hat aber dafür einen wunderschönen Ausblick! Habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und würde immer wieder dort übernachten!

Das einzige Problem ist, dass es nur eine Dusche gibt für alle Gäste! Es hat aber trotzdem alles gut geklappt! Frühstück gab es keines, aber es gibt eine Küche mit allem was man braucht.

The views from the bedroom, bathroom, and shared living spaces are spectacular. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Street parking ample. Location convenient to main Glastonbury attractions. Unique touches like salt lamp, herbal tea selection, fresh blackberry bushes in the garden, and an extensive library of books to explore. The host seemed really friendly during the brief phone calls but unfortunately didn't have much opportunity to get to know them.

The living spaces are very much shared where the listing said there was a private kitchen and refrigerator; this was not the case. Not a big deal, but awkward at times. House has overall a good vibe, but could be noisy in the evenings with people coming and going, especially since our room was near the front door. Our door lock was faulty and other guests mentioned issues with their door locks as well. Furniture in the room was tired, and a little unusual. Large gap between the thin mattress and a cloth headboard. Everything needed a deep clean. Back garden was unfortunately too overgrown to enjoy.

Beautiful location and views stunning. Good facilities inside the house

It was not clear when I booked that this is a shared house - sharing bathroom and kitchen and all living space. As it was, the people that were were sharing with were very pleasant and considerate, however, it was a shock and not ideal for our family situation, which made the whole business of staying there an anxious time, when it was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. I think this should be made much clearer in the information. Although the outside space was beautiful because of the views, the balcony was unusable as it was very dirty from the bird droppings and the garden was also quite not particular well kept so difficult for us to use as a family.

The view is beautiful and host very friendly

The house and garden feel under maintained. The balcony would be lovely if it was cleaned. The beautiful seat in the picture is old and not unkempt. Carpet in the bedroom needs a deep clean. A shared bathroom for 3 bedrooms wasn't expected or made clear in the ad.
