Nothing overlooked

Everything was brilliant, we arrived early and met the owners in the shop they were very nice and there was no problem having the room early. Steve showed us to the room and he couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very clean and the shower was very good and powerful 👌 I would also recommend the cooked breakfast one of the best I've had 👍

Absolutely amazing, definitely stay again

Perfect, beautifully decorated, lovely environment, warm with a cosy feel. Good for breakfast was superb, cant fault it. Service from the lovely owner was incredible, nothing was too much to ask, and the finest details made it so wonderful.

Beyond Exceptional

It's hard to find the words to express how brilliant my stay was. Steve is absolutely fabulous and made sure I felt safe and well looked after. The breakfast looked and tasted amazing and a bonus was that Steve brought it up to my room. Thankfully Steve was kind enough to let me check in a little bit earlier as it was raining and cold out. Steve had put the heating on and made sure the room was perfectly spotless. Thank you also to the review below with advice on the best place to park! St Johns road car park has plenty of spaces and is just over the road down a little cut way called the Gauntlet. I will be booking again and again as this place is PERFECT!

It's a great place to stay and refresh for my journey.

The location is perfect, it's on the high street and easy to reach from bus stop. Steve is very nice. He helped me to take my luggage up. The breakfast is very good and the portion is much I even cannot finish all.

Lovely stay in the center of Glastonbury

This is a cute B&B in the center of Glastonbury, right on the High Street - perfect location. The owner Steve is the nicest, and he made me a very special breakfast that touched my heart. His art shop is also super nice! I highly recommend staying at The Overlook.

Excellent B&B, highly recommended.

Second visit. Lovely, well equipped rooms in the heart of Glastonbury town, yet peacful and we felt very safe. Steve was very friendly and hospitable, even when I accidently left my key in the room. The breakfast is still excellent and well presented. Excellent value, we look forward to our next visit.

No long term parking outside, as it's on the high street, but plenty of car parks and free off street parking close by.

The best place I have stayed in Glastonbury. Friendly welcome and over-delivered by making me a packed lunch because I wasn’t going to be around for breakfast. And the packed lunch was first class. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location, wonderful host, throughly enjoyable stay

We absolutley loved our stay at the Overlook. The location right in High Street is fabulous, accessible on foot to all of the sights in Glastonbury. Steve was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were by far the best we have had in all our travels in Scotland and England. The care taken in presentation and the food was, of course, simply delicious. The room was spacious and beds comfy. I will be back again for sure to Glastonbury and The Overlook will be where I will return to stay.

Little Gem

We love everything about this delightful little B&B. There's nothing we would change. We step out onto the High Street. The full English is scrummy and is delivered to the room. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The whole place oozes positive energy

Perfect Glastonbury stay

Steve gave me such a warm welcome, and has created a very comfortable place to stay right on Glastonbury High Street. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. As for the breakfast - believe the hype. Steve's vegan fry-up was a 5* experience, brought up to my room.

Perfectly perfect BnB😁

We loved everything about the Overlook BnB. Very clean, comfortable, superb location, on the high street but the secondary glazing meant that it was quiet. We parked for free on a street about 5 mins walk away. There's a little supermarket a few doors away, and a large fridge to put your purchases in. The breakfast was absolutely superb. I am really fussy about my food, and this was so perfect! We had smoked salmon, smashed avocado, poached eggs, good quality toast, butter and marmalade. Excellent coffee and orange juice. If only every BnB was like this I'd be a very happy traveller!

Excellent breakfast, brought to the room. The location was perfect - right in the centre of town. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

The room was small, and filled with 2 beds (would have preferred a room with just a double bed and a bit more space). The only space to put the breakfast trays was tiny, so eating breakfast felt a bit cramped.

A gem in the middle of Glastonbury

This place is an absolute gem of a place. The hosts are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is to die for and was delivered to the room with a smile. The room was clean, modern, spacious and comfortable.

My only gripe is down to personal choice but the beds were too hard and therefore uncomfortable. I would suggest maybe a mattress topper but as I said that is a personal thing. It just meant I didn't sleep well.

The place was spotless, very clean, and had everything I needed in the room. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner was extremely kind and thoughtful. Since I had to leave early and couldn’t stay for breakfast, they prepared a fantastic lunch box for me, which I was very grateful for. I recomend 100%. He was very helpful as well.

Highly recommended this central town location to single travellers as well as families.

Booking was easy with excellent communication from the owner. The room was clean and quiet with lovely views of the street I had come to see. Parking for 24 hours was cheap and easy and central to the town. Breakfast was gorgeous. A vegetarian treat! As an artist, being above an art materials shop felt extra special! I will stay again. In fact, the bed was so comfortable I could have done with another night there.

Fantastic place with a slightly unconventional approach which works wonderfully. Set above an art shop on the high street, right in the centre of the town. The place is really attractive... and spotless. My single room was ideally appointed and again, spotless. Little touches like a ceiling fan made it super comfortable. Whilst it is in the centre of the town, the room itself was really quiet. As there's no dining room, breakfast was delivered to my room by the owner at a time to suit me... and was one of the best I've ever had! The owner was super welcoming and quickly and clearly explained way the key system worked - which was super easy.
