A very cozy hotel to stay. Highly recommended from the solo traveler.

Cozy hotel in the middle of town centre. I had a Beautiful view from the window and in general it’s a very cozy place to stay. Staff was amazing, food was delicious and just feels like home.

Friendly and central

Very central and convenient. Nice decor and clean. Staff were very friendly and it felt very safe as a solo traveller. The breakfast is made to order and really good quality with good veggie choices.

I'd stay again

Great breakfast. Comfortable room. Central location. Very convenient for my needs. The staff were very helpful, responsive and accommodating.

The convenient central location meant there was a lot of activity and noise outside of the hotel on the Saturday night/morning. The room I moved to that faced the back of the hotel was very quiet and peaceful.

Sleepless in Glastonbury

I have requested a refund due to no sleep because of a Loyd concert outside my room all night. Thud was agreed by the onsite manager but so far the refund has not been processed. If this vid not done very soon I will write s public review on the matter

Fantastic central location. Good sized rooms and decent bathroom. Excellent food and service in the restaurant, and staff could not have been more helpful.

Rooms could maybe do with a bit of a facelift Lighting in my room (John Lennon) very hard to figure out, and one kept flickering and going off.

Best place in Glastonbury!

The staff at the Crown Hotel are really amazing, professional and courteous. As a solo traveler, it was nice to be back and to be remembered by staff and to have pleasant interactions. The place is phenomenal, clean, the best location you can get in Glastonbury right on the square, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chef that was there while I stayed was amazing, for both dinner and breakfast. The room was perfect too, a nice view, comfortable bed, tv and great shower. I will be choosing the Crown again for my next Glastonbury excursions, and recommending to friends!

There are quite a lot of stairs, but the staff were kind enough to carry my luggage up when checking in! I would say that one problem I had was that one of the days when I left my towels on the floor of the bathroom to be changed, unfortunately they had not been, so I had to reuse the towels I had left. This only happened once though.

Great location, friendly staff, fine for short stay.

Centrally located pub with rooms, perfect for seeing Glastonbury. Room was comfortable and nicely cleaned and felt comfortable. Though right at the front of the pub with drinkers outside it was nice and quiet come bed time, so much so I could sleep with the windows open.

Come summer it needs air conditioning really, even if it’s just a mobile unit as fans rarely do the job, but not a big issue. No lift could be a challenge for some too.

An amazing place to stay

The staff on arrival were fantastic, and gave so much information, on the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with water, tea and coffee replenished when needed. The food , breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing, what a chef. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Beautiful welcome, amazing room, delicious food. We were completely wow’d by it all.

Ok so we both had high street facing bedrooms. Oh my goodness the noise. Horrendous!! There were musicians in the street literally under our windows on guitars, harmonicas and singing until 02:30. I can’t believe that no one from The Crown pub staff team didn’t say anything; they were there making noise from 10pm. I did gently ask them how long they be there for but they said they’d move on soon….and never did. We all felt wrecked the next day and it ruined our day feeling so shattered from awful sleep.

I’ll be back!

I love this place! I’ve been coming to Glastonbury for the past several years to attend a spiritual gathering and the Crown has gone from “the closest place with a room on the dates I want” to “Ahhh…home again.” I’ve been in both the Dolly Parton room (super comfy to lay my head those soft pillows) and most recently the Bob Marley room (chill vibe, slightly better for longer stays like mine). The food continues to be top notch. Fair warning-if you’re in the higher floors, the staircase can be really steep.

I wish breakfast started a little earlier. I often have an early event or bus to catch and would love to be able to eat at 7.

Location was perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities provided exceeded exxpecctations.

Parking facilities were not great. There was a continuous noise which sounded like a vacuum cleaner but was probably form the kitchen.
