The idea, the facilities around, the fruits at the reception :) The location is great as well.
The cafe attached to the hostel looked very nice too, even though was overcrowded (which is a good sign though!)
Some rooms are extremely hot, I had to change one, but luckily the stuff was helpful and did a room swap for me when I asked.

Unique, high standard hostel accommodation. Location was picturesque just slightly off the main Street - an easy, bumpy walk with luggage. Check-in process very straight forward and friendly. We had a small twin room - beautiful view of the snow capped mountains. We had the best sleep there - mattress and pillows were lovely - I did find the ladder to the upper bunk difficult (but it had been many years since I’d had to climb one !). The bathroom was so clean, shower excellent and loved the under floor heating. We were only there one night and didn’t utilise any other areas of the hostel - but they looked great.

Before my stay, I had high expectations after reading the hotel’s reviews, but unfortunately I ended up feeling disappointed.
The first issue was cleanliness. The room was not properly cleaned; there was a noticeable amount of dust and hair around the edges of the bed. In addition, there were hair strands left on the bathroom walls, which was quite unpleasant.
Another important point is the noise. Since the hostel seems to attract tourists who visit it from outside, there were groups of people walking around the corridors and talking loudly, even around 8–9 PM. Even when you come back to your room to rest, it’s difficult to relax because of the noise.
I stayed during the winter, so outside noise was not an issue with the windows closed. However, there is a restaurant right next to the property, and people sit outside until late hours. I believe this could be a problem during the summer months.
