Friendly staff. Clean room and comfortable bed.
Central location.
No lift , carried luggage to 3rd floor which we could do.. Jan did help. Some people might struggle.

Lovely old building in a great location with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was excellent and if you’re staying in-house I recommend booking dinner so you don’t miss out.
Staff were helpful and welcoming and had great suggestions. Breakfast was simple but delicious and in another beautiful heritage part of the building.
It was also well-insulated from sound and the cold.
Unfortunately our ensuite had a bad plumbing smell which filled the bathroom with an awful sewer smell - we notified staff and they were very responsive so hopefully no other guest will have that.
And a couple of little things trade-offs to note… the age of the building gives it its charm (and it is beautiful), but it means there is no elevator and limited power sockets in the room. Worth noting and planning for. We had to unplug a lamp and unravel an extension cord to charge devices.
