    Way overpriced for what’s offered. Old hotel in need of an upgrade. Booked a “Mountain View” just to find out they don’t have any rooms with Mountain View ( they blamed the booking platform) also, on the agoda app it says that all rooms have AC, which is also not true. There’s a fan that only works for 2 hours a time. They told me to open the windows. However the blinds only go half way down and then there’s a sheer, see through curtain= no privacy. My room faced the Main Street and it was extremely noisy even though the told me I had a “calm room”. Don’t stay here!

    We stayed at Central Hotel Post for one night after arriving in Chur on the Bernina Express, and overall we had a very good experience. The location was excellent for us. It was a short and manageable walk from the train station even with our luggage, while also putting us in a very convenient position for exploring Chur’s Old Town on foot. Our room was quiet, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. One of the biggest positives was the shower—the water pressure was excellent, some of the best we experienced during this part of our trip. The bathrooms also had some very unique Swiss-themed toilet seats. Ours certainly added a little personality to the room! The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a fairly basic European continental breakfast, but everything was good and we both enjoyed it. Our only real disappointment was the bed arrangement. We had two single beds pushed together, but they were still made up completely as separate single beds. For a couple, it wasn’t particularly comfortable or inviting and was the main drawback to an otherwise pleasant room. Overall, this was a comfortable and convenient place for our stay in Chur. The combination of the quiet room, very good shower, friendly staff, enjoyable breakfast and excellent location outweighed the bedding issue. Would we stay here again? Yes. If returning as a couple, however, we would specifically book a proper double bed.

    Pros- Just walkable from Chur Railway station. Friendly staff. Good room . Comfy beds. Coffee maker provided. Bathroom facilities, moderate. Good breakfast. Cons- Be forwarned, Summer is hot and No Aircon in the room. Fan provided. Windows cannot be opened.

    Direct, easy route from train station. Whole way lined with Xmas stalls but all closed when we arrived due to rain. Hotel is simple and bare, though adequately sufficient. Breakfast is excellent quality.
