If you are looking for a peaceful stay in a great location for exploring on foot, this is the place!

The location was great, only a short walk from the train station and we got to walk through the Christmas markets along the way! Hotel staff pointed us to a restaurant for dinner where we could enjoy authentic Swiss foods. Breakfast was well done, too.

There wasn't anything that did not meet or exceed our expectations. Amenities were great and we enjoyed our stay immensely! I highly recommend this hotel!!

Wonderful Chur

The room was quite big. Lovely shower. Nice breakfast.Located in the wonderful Chur old town.

Dont think the welcome was the best. Everything seemed to be too much trouble. Room was big but probably needed a bit of an update. Walk-in shower was a weird bright red colour but it was spacious and very good.

The hotel was located in the heart of the old town which can be explored on feet in a couple of hours. Close to Co-op . the train staion and other amenities.

Good value on a quaint old town

Loved the quaintness of the hotel. It is in a good location in the old town, our room was clean and the sparkling wine at breakfast was an unexpected surprise.

The cooked breakfast was cold. I think they had forgotten to turn the food warmer in other than that it was all great.

Our only night in Switzerland

We enjoyed the custom lighting in the bathroom. We found the desk clerk to be very helpful. She gave us good information about taking the train to Turino the next day. This allowed us to stay later in the morning and enjoy their great breakfast. Enjoyed sitting in there bar area having a glass of wine.

We had a difficult time finding the property from the train station. Or Google maps seem to be struggling a bit.

Pleasant stay

Wonderful little hotel with very nice staff. Room was of good size and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great and everything you would need just steps away. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Only downside is no air conditioning in the room.

Lovely hotel in the old town a 12 minute walk from the rail station

The staff were excellent- really welcoming and helpful. They gave us the tourist discount card which gives you 50% off attractions such as the cable car - a 10 minute walk from the hotel.Our room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast offered a really large range, including hot and cold choices, a number of fresh breads and preserves and for a vegan or lactose intolerant diner, margarine. It was delicious. This is a characterful hotel in a charming old building, with some quirky decor ( in our room). We didn't mind the glass bathroom door as it was obscure enough. The shower was great, with a choice of heads and good water pressure. It was good having a kettle and tea and coffee in the room and the informative hotel guide told us that the tap water was safe and pleasant to drink. It also asked guests to report any maintenance issues and when we did, we could see it was being taken seriously, unlike other hotels we've stayed in. We're not sure why this is a 3 star hotel rather than 4 star. Perhaps the pillows?

The pillows are poor in our opinion: lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on. If not for this, we would have rated the hotel 10. Considering that hotels in Switzerland are more expensive when compared with many places in Europe, we thought the hotel was really good value for money.

Lovely old hotel in a convenient, central location

Lovely old hotel in a central location and a convenient 7 minutes walk to the train station. Excellent breakfast and comforts, and very helpful staff.

The internet was a bit unstable and kept dropping in and out. We really appreciated the fan because it was so hot at night but would have liked a top sheet for the bed as the duvet was too warm for the temperature. Ideally, air conditioning would be great but I’m sure retro-fitting an old building would be tricky.

Good location for an overnight stay if like us you are on a train tour.

Breakfast was very good. Buffet style as much as you wanted to eat. We were on the fourth floor for which there is an elevator. The location was less than 10 minutes walk from the station and located in the aldstadt area. A lovely area to take a wander around.
