Good place to stay in the heart of Chur

Very good small hotel 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walking to the Cathedral. Small fridge and a cattle in the room. Comfortable beds. Very kind and friendly staff.

Great place to be based for a couple of days with easy access to all of the old town

Lovely to have a spacious room, even though it was a single. Staff were helpful, including carrying my case down to street level as I was leaving, and knowledgeable about sights and where to eat. While there are stairs from the street to reception, there’s a lift internally.

Nice location in centre of Chur. Although slightly older property but with nice charm. Perfect for our one night stay. Would recommend. Really helpful lady in reception explained everything clearly.

Great one night stopover before the Bernina Express trip . Could’ve stayed longer

Great little room, perfect for a short stay

Good location, 7 minutes walk from the station. The room was very modern and new, recently refurbished I would say. Very clean, good toiletries, very comfy bed and pillows. Great view of the church and mountains behind it. No noise from surrounding rooms. Good storage space.

No staff for helping with checking in between 8PM and 6:30 AM; also, they could not be reached via WhatsApp . Since our train was delayed, we had a hard time getting through the reception desk to convey the message

Just ten minutes from the station in the Old Town. Was clean and we had a good sized room. Easy to check in and out.

Economical hotel to stay near the center of Chur, but do not expect much in the way of facilities.

The room was very clean and the hotel location was good, near the center of town. The bed was satisfactory.

the reception is located up a flight of steps with no elevator. The facilities were basic, a kettle, no tea or coffee and only 2 paper cups.

Quiet and cozy little place with a nice breakfast and friendy staff

Our room was spacious and clean. We requested a quiet room and got exactly that. The location in general is very quiet. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We really liked the breakfast. It is simple, but it was more than enough for us. Decaf coffee and fresh berries were a nice touch!

We stayed here at the end of August. The room temperature was still on the hot side and blankets were too warm. One of the pillows was pretty bad too. But these are just nitpicks. We really enjoyed our stay!

Basic room in Old Town but good value. Ten minute walk to the train station.

Well-priced for solo travelers on a weekend night during the busy summer season in Chur. Small but clean room. Staff were welcoming and courteous. There are several good restaurants located within a block of the hotel. Breakfast was limited but adequate, fresh and well-presented. The hotel is nicely located to several restaurants within a block. The area is quiet.

Reception is only staffed until 8:00 p.m. so that may be too restrictive for some guests. Evidently, I didn’t get my electronic key to work correctly on my first couple attempts at the main hotel door, and was afraid that I’d be stranded outside for the night. The room was small but manageable for one adult. However, it was uncomfortably warm inside, although the room fan did help. Guests have to lug their luggage up one full floor to the front desk. On check-out, the attentive receptionist helped me with my carry-on.

Great stay! Centrally located on edge of Old Town and walking distance to all of Old Town Chur.

The location of this hotel was perfect. Right in the old town and our rooms had views of the street with an old church directly across from it. There was no a/c but seems like in Chur, fans are good enough. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast started nice and early (6:30) which was helpful since we had an early train that morning. The breakfast spread offered plenty of pastries, breads, yogurt, muesli, fruit and scrambled eggs and sausage. We had a great stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

Everything was great! The only thing travelers should be aware of is that in order to get to the reception you need to go up a flight of stairs. After that there is an elevator to all of the rooms, but for those that can't do stairs or have difficulty with them, it might pose a real problem.

A night before the Bernina express

The location was good ...about 10 mins walk with 2 turns and straight forward from train station . The COOPs supermarket is just round the corner and old town on the other direction . The sink is located outside the ensuite bathroom which maybe practical .

Need to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the reception , can be challenging for seniors with luggages . During summer , if the window is opened , can hear people talking downstairs . The pillow was too soft and only one provided . Bearable for one night stay . The shower head was in a weird angle and water jet too weak . Only one shower gel provided and no place to put own toiletries in the shower cubicle .

The restaurant opposite the hotel is noisy until it closes at 10:00pm. The clock announcement of the church beside the hotel is very frequent. No passenger lift between hotel entrance at ground level and reception in first floor. Passenger lift is provided from reception to upper floors. Double room is small.
