Overall good experience, but rooms facing the cafe are not for sleeping... It was extremely noisy... I did not sleep that night, and was forced to listen thousands of stories from cafe ... :)

Laundry took forever and it is not included in the price. There is no air conditioning, and it is extremely hot during the summer and all they give you is a fan that just moves the hot air around. It was to the point where we had to think about going to another hotel in the middle of the night. This place is mediocre with high prices and is basically a hostel

Great place to stay with my daughter for a couple of nights. Good location near the historic centre. Very friendly, nice breakfast. The only downside was it was very hot. We had a good fan in the room so it was just about bearable.

The hotel is close to the station, staff were very friendly and geld our luggage when we arrived an hour early for check in. We booked a triple superior room and was given a 2 bedroom, with a double and 2 singles put together, mini apartment with a kitchenette, coffee machine etc and was lovely and spacious. Nice breakfast too included, was a little pricey for 1 night, but a lovely nights sleep

I really enjoy that the Hotel it's in the heart of Chur, one thing I didn't like it was that washrooms are outside of the room, so, you need to go there and take a shower and also someone can be there. But it's a great hotel!

Stayed here just for one night after arriving in Chur on the Bernina Express and before departing for the rest of our vacation. It’s a very simple hotel, but superbly clean, very friendly staff, a fresh breakfast and right in the center of the old town of Chur. There are even thoughtful additions such as outlet converters in rooms so everyone can use their electronics. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I happened to be in Chur again.

Easy to get to from the train station. I stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor which was perfect for my needs. Room and bathroom both spotless, quality bedding and towels. Breakfast was plentiful and staff helpful. I would happily stay there again.

Front desk staff were extremely courteous, provided us with a map and some ideas for shopping and dining nearby (though prepare yourself for the price of dining out in Switzerland generally). During my family’s 2 week European trip, Central Hotel Post had the most comfy beds of our entire vacation, and the strongest water pressure of any shower I have ever seen (always a pleasant surprise, in my book). Our 3 rooms were spacious and very clean, we had windows that opened up to the square below, and some of the beautiful mountains surrounding, and there was an elevator/lift; we rented a car and there seemed to be no on-site parking for the hotel but we found a parking garage close by that was free on Sundays (hotel staff also gave us other options). Chur is a bit of a sleepy town so very quiet and walkable. We had a short stay and breakfast was pretty good for that period, not overwhelming variety but enjoyable nonetheless. We stayed here for an overnight before catching the Bernina Express the next morning and it is a very short distance to the train station (and the Europcar rent-a-car next door). I’d be happy to recommend this hotel to family and friends who hope to do something similar in future.

This hotel does not have parking. They give you a permit to park overnight in the street if you can find a spot. Otherwise your need to pay 18 CHF to park in a not convenient garage. Highly non recommended if you are coming by car
