Scenic location and very friendly, caring and flexible host Mr. Thomas. Especially the home made breakfast.

We liked everything, no complaints.

We spent just one night at Bergpension Battagliahütte, and we are absolutely thrilled with this place! The views and the surrounding nature are simply breathtaking — it’s like stepping into a postcard. A special thank you to the host and his family for their incredible hospitality. They made us feel so welcome, and the atmosphere was very warm and heartfelt. We had such a wonderful time here and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable stay!

Tomas and family treated us like family! They were so kind, accommodating and helpful during our stay. We asked if vegan was an option and they accommodated us. Tomas even helped us arrange a taxi. Nothing was a problem. The surroundings is like heaven on earth, and is absolutely breathtaking. You will not want to leave!

Nothing major at all.

The location is a bit off the beaten track, but easily reached by cable car or car. It’s so peaceful and the views are beautiful. If you want to wake up to the sound of cowbells, you couldn’t choose a better place. The hosts were also super welcoming. You immediately felt part of the family. It is clear that the owners are an active part in the local community and that they pride themselves on great food and traditional recipes. Our stay felt very special and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Not a lot of hiking trails up there, but can wander and have good views.

Breakfast was good. Owners made extra efforts to accommodate our dietary needs.

Summertime stay. Incredibly friendly and accommodating owners. Incredible location with beautiful scenic views. The town of Chur is very nice. Staying here (away from it all) adds a totally different dimension to the visit. Tip: If you're in a group, have some take the gondolas up while the driver (and those afraid of heights) go in the car. Both routes are beautiful.

Einfache und sehr saubere Bergunterkunft.

Der Gastgeber Thomas war sehr gastfreundlich, wir haben uns in der familiären Atmosphäre wohl gefühlt! Das Zimmer war gross und heimelig, das Frühstück lecker.

Das Haus ist sehr alt, dementsprechend liessen sich die Türen zum Gang/Badzimmer nur sehr sperrig und geräuschvoll öffnen und schliessen. Dies störte in der Nacht etwas... Kleine Duschtücher.

So wie man sich eine Berghütte vorstellt. Tomas und seine Familie sind sehr nette und gastfreundliche Menschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker.

Der Gastgeber mit seiner Frau und der Schwiegermutter ist unglaublich nett. Sie kochen sehr, sehr lecker. Wir haben uns bei ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt und den traumhaft schönen Ausblick genossen. Alles einfach richtig gut.

Heimelig. Auch weil die Liegenschaft schon sehr renovationsbedürftig ist.

In der kleinen Gaststube mit Fondue und heissem Stein zu fahren, ist mutig. Allgemein macht die Liegenschaft einen stark renovationsbedürftigen Eindruck. Da müsst investiert werden.

El mal tiempo que no dependía de ellos

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam familj som äger boendet. Vi var kalla och blöta när vi kom hit men fick ett varmt mottagande av Thomas med familj! Fantastiskt läge med enastående utsikt! Maten var vällagad och mycket god.

Sehr nette und kommunikativer Gastgeber innen, äußerst gemütliche Zimmer, wo wir sehr gut geschlafen haben. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen ist ausgezeichnet: hier habe ich das beste Cordon bleu meines Lebens gegessen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gerade für die Schweiz herausragend gut.

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, er hat mich am Nachmittag angerufen und hat mir die Infos bezüglich des Abendessens gegeben. Bei unserer Ankunft war er sehr hilfsbereit, auch für weitere Unternehmungen in der Schweiz hatte er einige wertvolle Tipps. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder 😉.

La ubicación es privilegiada de ahí creo el alto precio por una habitación básica , nos esperaron para el check in, nos calentaron la comida que trajimos .

Reservamos la habitación con baño en habitación , y no es lo que obtuvimos , obtuvimos una habitación sin baño , el baño estaba a bajo en una escaleras apartado , no ideal con niños y no ideal dado que no era lo que habíamos reservado. No sentimos bastante acosados para hacer el check in y pago ( mi hijo no se encontraba bien por las curvas hasta llegar al lugar y vomito fuera del coche ) el hombre se quedo mirando me vez de darnos algo de intimidad y tiempo . Después acoso para hacer el check out te dan 1 hora justa para desayunar e irte a las 8:30 a 9:30 desayuno a la vez que check out . Mientras hacían el desayuno se peleaban en la cocina . Desayuno escaso para 4 yo avise previamente que era vegana y me trajo pimientos y tomates cortados para desayunar , mientras a al familia de al lado (también 4 personas que hablaban su idioma) no paraban de traerles más y más cosas.

Premesso che per gli italiani andare in Svizzera significa trovare tutto che costa almeno il doppio... però ... anche se si tratta di un rifugio alpino e non si possono pretendere le comodità di un Hotel **** (quanto il prezzo applicato), nelle camere gli asciugamani da doccia erano quelli da viso ... i prodotti da bagno erano riciclati da quelli lasciati da precedente ospiti (incluso un rasoio usa e getta - già usato), una delle due sedie sul terrazzo era rotta - prossima a sfasciarsi, il posacenere come l'abbiamo trovato all'arrivo aveva ancora i mozziconi dei precedenti ospiti. La cena consumata in loco (non c'erano molte alternative) è stata servita dicendo che doveva essere terminata entro le 19 (!!!) la colazione al mattino assolutamente tra le 8 e le 9 (check-out) ma è stata servita dopo più di trenta minuti di attesa. Insomma molte cose, che facilmente potrebbero essere migliorate, per rendere il prezzo più digeribile.

Wir waren absolut begeistert von der herzlichen Gastfreundschaft von Thomas und seiner Frau – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Lage ist perfekt: nur 3 Minuten zur Seilbahn, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Biketouren, mit dem Downhill-Bikepark direkt nebenan. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der Abend unserer Ankunft: obwohl wir eigentlich zu spät waren, hat Thomas uns nicht hungrig ins Bett gehen lassen, sondern noch hervorragende Langos für uns zubereitet – das war wirklich klasse! Wer familiäre Atmosphäre und echte Gastfreundschaft schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank für die unvergesslichen Tage – wir kommen sicher wieder!

Posizione fantastica con vista mozzafiato, atmosfera rilassante ed accoglienza cordiale. Un vero rifugio in alta montagna Colazione ottima. Abbiamo anche apprezzato la cena al nostro arrivo semplice ma gustosa. Un breve ma indimenticabile soggiorno Ci tornerò sicuramente

Herzlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeber. Trotz unseres Eintreffen nach Küchenschluss mussten wir nicht hungrig ins Bett gehen. In familiärer Atmosphäre wurden wir bewirtet, wir kamen nach der langen Fahrt zur Ruhe und in entspannter Stimmung folgte noch kurz und unkompliziert der Check-in. Urige bewirtschaftete Berghütte mit nostalgischem Charme. Die Gastgeberfamilie lässt den Aufenthalt mit ihrem Engagement und der Natürlichkeit zu einem Erlebnis werden.

Leider nur zwei Übernachtungen gebucht zu haben!

De ervaring van het slapen in een berghut. Prachtig uitzicht, hartelijk ontvangst, drankje van het huis zeer gastvrij. In de avond heerlijk gegeten. (Zwitserse prijzen)

De bedden waren vrij hard. Alles kraakt in het huis en de badkamer zit niet op je eigen kamer. Dit is natuurlijk ook de charme van het huis.

De eigenaars waren enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Fantastische Lage, gemütliches Haus, super freundliche und hilfbereite Gastgeber. Wir waren wegen Stau erst sehr spät abends da, wir wurden trotz später Stunde freundlich begrüßt und dürften nach Küchenschluss unsere mitgebrachte Pizza in der Gaststube essen. Leider haben wir dadurch das hochgepriesene Abendessen verpasst. Die Zimmer sind schöne Hüttenzimmer, sauber und gemütlich. Das Frühstück ist gut. Alles was man braucht.

Nichts, es kein 5-Sterne-Hotel, aber das hatten wir ja auch nicht gebucht
