Holiday Home Chalet Dori by Interhome

Spacious property with good parking and access to outdoor space. Convenient for groceries, access to public transport and routes by car out to the mountains. Scenic views from the balcony in a calm, safe and generally quiet neighbourhood. We cooked 3 dinners at the chalet and appreciated that there were some provisions such as cooking oil, salt and pepper provided. The welcome beers and chocolate were a nice touch too. Check-in and check-out processes were very straightforward and the video Jeanette provided in advance was helpful. Interhome were prompt in sending our Interlaken passes which gave us access to free local public transport and some discounts in return for the city tax. We enjoyed the pizzeria 2 mins walk away too!

The single room has an old style spring bed frame which proved uncomfortable. One of the mattresses was very soft foam which we felt needed replacement. All pillows very soft. There is a bell tower nearby which chimes every 15 mins which disturbed our sleep.

Property was good location in a quiet environment. It's just confusing when I booked that I wasn't given the full address so when we book the taxi from town centre, the taxi driver was confused but luckily that driver took some time to figure it out.( Thanks to that taxi driver). The whole house is nice and spacious but the upstairs is very old style and the single room has no socket to plug your devices to charge overnight.

The location of the house is 10 mins walk to Interlaken ost Station. The views of the mountain from the house is nice. House is well maintained and comfortable. Jeannette is very nice and approachable. It's good place for family to stay for a holiday.
