Wonderful stay.

Beautiful room in a beautiful chalet. Close to Interlaken west . Lots of shops and restaurants around. Great communication from the host. Nice kitchenette as well.

It’s very convenient and comfy. The host is very accommodating.

The Apartment was really nice. It’s part of the old house but some of the parts of the room I stayed were renovated such as the kitchen. The toilet is clean, floor is warm, shower has good water pressure. Has cold and hot water. The property is very well maintained. Close to Interlaken West station. Close to the shops as well. You can walk 10-15 mins to shops and the station.

Since part of the old house, some of the fixtures are a bit old. Wifi is a bit slow

The location of the property was great. Very close to the Main Street, train station and restaurants. It was warm, cozy and quaint. The facilities were just what we needed with nice additional touches (eg washing capsule for washing machine). Very efficient check in and check out processes. Great communication from the host throughout.

Home away from home

We loved our stay here. Gorgeous historic chalet, lovely room with many inclusions. Facilities generous and well thought out. Staff very accommodating. Great location to trains and the mountains. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location, in close proximity to town ands train, yet very quiet. Would gladly stay here again!

Matt kept us well informed and provided clear instructions and directions. The location is great - on the river, close to town centre, and only 5 mins walk from Interlaken West train station.

The only thing that could be better was the WiFi connection, which was very slow at times.

Great stay of great value!

- Great value for Switzerland and especially Interlaken - Amazing location, only a 5 minute walk from Interlaken West and Coop - The instructions for check in were so straightforward and easy to follow! - We stayed in one of the apartments and it was huge, more than enough space for 2 people with 2 big pieces of luggage and 2 small ones - Washing machine was excellent - cleaned well and not noisy at all even on spin cycle - Loved the rustic decor of the apartment

- The room is extremely dark - there is only one main light and one bedside lamp and they are both extremely dim - The dresser was broken (one of the drawers was falling out)

The location of this cute chalet was ideal. The property is located down a lane next to the river in the center of town. While it's walkable to nearly everything in Interlakken, it still feels private and serene.

Great value - rare for Switzerland.

This is not luxury accommodation, but we knew that, and the photos are a good representation of what you get. Very good value for Interlaken. Excellent location being a 5min walk from the station at Interlaken West. Located adjacent to the fast-flowing river. We had no issue with noise. This is a very old building, but the windows were new and double glazed. Washing machine in the apartment. Parking on site.

Some of the furniture could do with being updated. Beds are old and mattresses, pillows and linen could do with being replaced.

Lovely hideaway close to the train station

Probably the best run short term accommodation we have ever stayed in. Location is amazing. Was nice to stay in an older building.

They could do with selecting different furniture. The bed was creaky and a bit uncomfortable. The layout of the room was awkward.

Positives about the Chalet: Excellent location – ideally situated for convenience and scenic surroundings. Mesmerising views – stunning vistas that enhance the overall experience. Good facilities – well-equipped and functional for a comfortable stay. Appropriate kitchen appliances – everything needed for cooking and dining was available and in good working order. Spacious – plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. Good storage – ample space to store personal items and keep the area tidy.

Areas for Improvement: No mirror in the room – made getting ready less convenient. Uncomfortable mattress and pillows – sleep quality could be improved. Bathroom lighting could be better – insufficient brightness, especially for tasks like shaving or applying makeup. No blackout curtains – early morning light affected sleep and privacy

Good location and enjoyable experience. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The location was convenient to all that we needed or wanted to do. The property was just as advertised and we were satisfied with the accommodations. Check-in and check-out was easy and keys were available upon our arrival.

Although the property was clean, there seemed to be a small ant issue in the bathroom. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but only had a bottom sheet and two sleeping bags for us to use as blankets. I would have appreciated more comfort in the bedding.

Such a fantastic stay at one of the best locations in the whole of Interlaken. Matt was an excellent host and the extra effort made to make us feel welcome was amazing. I especially loved the small signs made specially for me when I had a late check in. Would definitely come back again.

The room is big enough to open two luggage . There is a kitchen for us to prepare food, water, drinks. The owner of the house is very nice and take care of us.

Very big and confortable apartment downtown Interlaken.

Very well located, in the center of Interlaken with a great view of the river. The owners are very friendly and they organized 2 parking slots for us even though there is only one for this apartment. The apartment is very big and confortable. We were 6 people and we enjoyed it a lot.

Checkout is a bit too early but it makes sense as the apartment is very big and it takes time to tidy up and clean it for the next renters. Would be nice if there was one more small sofa in the living room as they existing ones could fit only 4 people. It would be good idea to have shower gel as well. We thought there will be some but luckily we saw it early and we still had time to go to the supermarket to buy one.
