Location was great.

The beds were not overly comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom had stained and patched sheets and we could feel the springs. The shower head in the upstairs bathroom was so high I had to stand on top toes to adjust the angle. The height couldn’t be adjusted. I am 157cm tall. The light fittings in the living area were so low we kept hitting our heads as we walked past. As mentioned, I am only 157cm tall. The dishcloth was old with holes. The floor heating in one of the rooms was not working properly.

I love how close this chalet to train city, its kinda in middle in interlaken city so near to groceries/restaurant/shops. Its big clean and spacious for us 10 pax

The Chalet is conveniently located near Interlaken West bus and train station.The Chalet was clean and kitchen had sufficient utensils to prepare food.

The mattresses were not comfortable at all. We tried using dishwasher but it didn't start.

We love our stay in the property it made our Interlaken vacation a memorable one.

I absolutely loved the location and size of this property! It was perfect and very comfortable for our group of 10. The train station is just a short walk away, and having a grocery store only a few meters from the property was super convenient. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals, which saved us a lot and made our stay feel even more like home. The host was incredibly accommodating and even let us check in earlier than expected. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience—I would highly recommend this place!

Although we requested an extra mirror, I think the property needs extra mirrors, since most of us are women it takes time for us to do our hair and make up.

The chalet was perfectly positioned for our groups stay which was for us to participate in the UTMB Eiger Run! It met all our needs for accommodation and locality to local transport to Grindelwald.

Best place in Interlaken - NO QUESTIONS

What did I like? - EVERYTHING. There was nothing I could leave a bad feedback on. Every thing was absolutely exceptional starting from how the host had planned for our arrival, with name cards directing us to the cottage and welcome not on the main door. The property was big, clean, and comfortable. Nice kitchen, and bathrooms. Its very difficult to find 2 bathroom properties in Interlaken, this is one of them. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Interlaken West station, we walked with our suitcases and very elderly parents to the property. A grocery store is right next to the front gate of the property, Coop supermarket is just a few minutes walk, and a beautiful water stream runs right next to the property. The host Matt is excellent in his communication, and will make sure that you do not face any issues during your stay. Restaurants are right next door as well.

Perfect Location, so clean! Home away from home.

It’s homey, so clean! A peaceful place in the middle of busy town of Interlaken. Owner provided 2 electric fans. Owner responds fast and we felt so welcome with all the signs he placed along the property to get to our apartment Easy 5-15 walk to restaurants, train/bus stations, park, souvenir shops, and 7/11 store is just right in the corner. Dryer and washer were so useful for us. The instructions/suggestions/ tips provided were clear.

Wonderful stay at CityChalet!

Had an excellent stay at CityChalet during my stay! Communications leading up to our arrival was excellent and our check-in was a breeze. The route to our chalet took just 10 mins from Interlaken West station. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for our family of five. Facilities provided are all in working condition. We had a blast!!

Excellent location!! River flowing near and mountains in the back sets a perfect mood for the holidays. Property is well maintained and has a vintage charm.

Lovely two floor apartment in a great location near Interlaken West station. It's in a very quiet cul de sac next to the river and surrounded by back gardens. Plenty of room for us all, plus a balcony, and we appreciated the well equipped kitchen so we could cook proper meals. The host family was very helpful eg in promptly providing an extra key for us.

Cozy and Comfortable for Large Families

It was spacious! I was traveling with my family of 15 so we had the entire 2 (2.5 :) floors of the Chalet - 8 upstairs and 7 downstairs, and it was spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances/silverware/plates etc. Made it easy to stay in and cook for the most part of our stay. Relatively close to the Interlaken West train station (~ 5 min walk). View of the surrounding mountains during the day was beautiful! Close to the main road and shops; just wish the shops in Interlaken didn't close so early during the winter.

The driveway to the Chalet could benefit from more light. It gets pretty dark around the area and the lights that were there was not sufficient (in my opinion), and was only activated by motion. We arrived late, so when we got there, we could barely see where the Chalet was from the main road. Beds could have been more comfortable. Would have liked fluffier pillows.

A great place to stay near Interlaken Ost.

The location was fantastic - just a short walk from Interlraken Ost Train Station and main street of Interlaken. The chalet was very comfortable and had amazing views of the mountains. It was great having a little bit of extra room for the family to spread out after spending time in hotel rooms.

Cute apartment on water

Very attractive exterior. Lots of space on the inside with loads of bed choices. It also had a washer and dryer. The owner was very responsive and sent lots of information about the area. It also had a great luggage storage area.

I would recommend to have some condiments like olive oil, salt and pepper for light cooking and sugar for coffee. I don’t usually cook meals while traveling but it is good to offer it for eggs in the morning or light meal.
