Spacious ground floor apartment. Sleeps 5 to 12 guests

Our party of 9 had a lovely time at the Townhouse. Accommodations were spacious and clean, and we were happy to be so centrally located. We felt, though, that furnishings were relatively minimal, considering the rental price. Most of all, we would have appreciated drapes or shades on all the bedroom windows, as they are facing east and the early rising sun during summer months makes sleeping past 6 am very difficult. Juliet and Markus are wonderful hosts, however, and followed through on any request, being especially helpful when we asked for a larger parking space. Again, it was a wonderful experience overall.

Really enjoyed a terrific stay. Check in was fast and efficient, the host had great options on local travel, and the property itself was really nice. It was clean and well appointed, with lots of space. Though the views were not great from the apartment, the location is quite close to the town center and the train station (no more than 10-15 minute walk). Highly recommend!

Pros: Really great location where you can walk to everything. The house is a bottom level apartment that is very accessible (though it still has a couple stairs at the front stoop that is not completely level to road). There are 4 bedrooms that give everyone plenty of space and the bathroom layout is good for multiple people. Lastly, Juliet is easy to work with and quick to respond.Cons: It kinda feels like a college apartment that is modestly appointed-- not like a Home Away/ VRBO rental at this price point. We found the beds okay, but could have been a bit better and sheets/ coverlets were musty (Juliet did say she is going to remedy this for the future). The noise level from the renters upstairs is noticeable and other than adding insulation or area rugs I am not sure what they can do (bring your earplugs or noise machine). Lastly, though this house has plenty of room it is not going to win any awards for feng shui flow. It is kinda funky. Overall, it was fine. Again, Juliet is wonderful, but the house needed a little sprucing. If you are looking for location to Interlaken this apartment is great. If looking for something with a view or more pastoral in feel then I would recommend Grindelwald, Wengen, or Murren.

It was perfect for our family of 9. It is extremely child friendly; bus stop is right outstide the door; centrally located in town; plenty of dishes for cook g and eating; fantastic refrigerator; access to washer. We loved this house and highly recommend staying there.

This apartment is well equipped for 10 people with extra sofa bed for 2 more. Large dining table so everyone can eat together. Kitchen with everything you need to cook for a large crowd. Toys and games are provided. Outside garden with trampoline. The location is fabulous - few minures walk into Interlaken centre (try the Funky Chocolate Club making Swiss chocolate workshop!). Very close to Grindlewald and Lauterbrunnen so lots of hiking in summer. Apartment is very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend for a large group.

The apartment was perfect for our group of 7 people. Easy walk to the city center.

Great location close to Interlaken, but just far enough to be out of the tourist rat race every minute of the trip. Nice apartment. A bit noisy from the street traffic and tenants in the unit above. But plenty of room, and quick walk to town or the local pubs/stores the other direction for some local fare.

Good size apartment, had all facilities . Microwave was not working and was changed promptly by Juliet. Good location with bus stand outside the apartment and walking distance to shops and supermarket like Lidl. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this apartment.

Great apartment with a great location in Interlaken. Spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. Stayed for a week with 7 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of room. Juliet was great, any time we needed anything I emailed her and her response was quick. We will definitely contact Juliet if we are going back to Interlaken for a stay.

The apartment worked well for our party of us grandparents, daughter, her husband and 2 children. The 2 bathrooms and the third toilet was a nice touch especially on our early start days to the Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn etc.The children loved the space and the welcome pack was a very nice touch. Although everyone enjoyed the mountains and varied transports the biggest hit was the toboggan run at Grindlewald. The indoor swimming pool at Interlaken is really good as we found out on our really rainy day. We used the shared barbecue but would have appreciated direct access to the garden rather than having to walk round. Would certainly recommend.

A very good and comfortable stay. We found the apartment bright and airy, although the curtains are quite sheer for our likings, the shutters can be closed to block off the light. There are 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 2 single beds as you enter the apartment. Both bedrooms are airy and bright. Then it's the kitchen, one of the bathrooms and one single wc, very well equipped kitchen and the bathroom is spacious. Through the kitchen is the living and dining room. The living room sofa area could do with more lighting but the dining table was big and can fit more than 10. The 3rd bedroom is entered from the living room and the 4th bedroom with bunk bed is entered through the 3rd bedroom. These 2 bedrooms are connected so perfect for family leaving other bedrooms for other family members.

The house is very big and spacious, the kitchen has all that is required for Indian cooking, the house has a very long dinning table so a big family can sit together and have dinner. It also has many DVD and toys, kids enjoyed a lot. The house has a very nice garden also and the best part was the bus to Interlaken stops at the door of the house, we didn't have to walk at all. Superb location. Flip side was that the towels and bath mats would get dirty in a 7 days long stay, so if they had any arrangements of cleaning the house on the 3-4 day it would have been better.

We were 5 adults and 3 children .This was the first time we stayed in an apartment .It was spacious ,comfortable and clean.The landlady had provided us with toys,multipin plugs,storybooks,DVD,and some groceries too.Only drawback was that there were no latches in the bathroom and the surface between the rooms(entrance to any room)was uneven and my little one kept on falling.The rooms are better than what they look in pictures.Living area was big and all the bedrooms had snow capped mountain view.The house was at the bus stop,so it was easy to commute.Thanks Juliet for giving me wonderful memories !

Great stay. Apartment is nice, spacious, clean, well equipped and well located. Owner is kind and very helpful. Interlaken region is simply beautiful. Would definitely recommend this property.

Tolles, gemütliches Objekt in einem älteren Haus. Die Hellhörigkeit ist jedoch wenig störend. Die Infrastruktur und Aufteilung ist anfänglich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber sie ist O.K. Die Lage ist wirklich ziemlich zentral und man ist schnell im Zentrum von Interlaken. Wir hatten viel Spass und haben die Zeit in Interlaken bzw. in der Wohnung genossen.

Hat alles super geklappt, Wohnung war sauber, geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Lage top 5-10 Gehminuten vom Zentrum weg. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

We were very happy with this apartment and also the host, who was very quick in responding and in helping out with any questions we had. The only thing we can criticize is the equipment of the kitchen, which is rather sparse and which makes it a bit difficult to cook for up to 12 people...
