Great location, clean and great customer service

I like the idea of the bed that the lights automatically illuminates once you step out of the bed. It prevents accidents. The breakfast is great and customer service is well attentive. Price is reasonable and pillows and bed are very soft. I had a good sleep.

Nice place to stay in a great town, great breakfast.

The breakfast was surprisingly excellent. The staff was friendly, and the room was nice and clean. There was AC which kept the room a comfortable temperature. There was a private parking lot down the street in a residential area which was easy to access and easy to park a larger car. There is a tram station nearby to get around the town without a car.

The location was not very walkable to get around, but we were able to use the tram, which was convenient. Tickets are bought from a machine onboard (not from a machine at the street stop like we were told). It's about a 15 minute ride on the #3 to get to the amazing old town area.

Very good location, staff not as helpful as desired

I selected this venue for its location near and with easy access to Freiburg, and it satisfied both these requirements. There's a tram that runs right past the hotel, and bicycle routes into the city are clearly marked and easy to follow.

The biggest issue was the lack of available hotel parking, as no reservations for spaces in the lot were accepted. When I was told by the receptionist that no spaces were left, I asked for other options in the area, and he was not able to provide any. Although I dealt with this on my own, it would have been nice to have had some help from the hotel staff.

Superb

The staff is really friendly, also the breakfast service. Everything was new, clean and tidy and good equipped. What I enjoyed the most was the fact that many details were well thought out, I literally felt it. Also the seperat toilet and separate shower bathroom was great, enough privacy when you don't travel alone. Two great pillows each, loved that. The breakfast was so good, the best bread you can have. I decided to book a massage and it was the best choice. Steffi gave her best, it was a really good massage you also should book when you stay there. Also we enjoyed the signature cocktails at the bar. Stop reading this revue, go ahead and book this hotel, you won't regret it :)

The parking is way to expensive (10€ outside and 15 or 18€ inside, don't know exactly). We chose the slot outside, the area felt safe. 25€ fee/room to use the sauna. Sorry, way to expensive. It should be included.

Aesthetic, clean, modern and friendly hotel

The breakfast was excellent. Fresh buns, tasty coffee, salmon pieces, everything you need. Nice tableware. The breakfast service employee is very friendly.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. We were the first at breakfast and everything was neatly set and ready to pick.

There are motion activated lights by the beds. This is a great concept to help with navigation during the night, but they were too bright. If my partner got up to use the bathroom, the light was bright enough to also wake me up.

Exceptional

All was great. Clean, great fresh interior design. The automatic lighting that is turning on moving next to the bed was really helpful for the child at night.

In this hotel rooms don’t have an electric kettle. So no chance to make and drink coffee or tea right in the room. I didn’t noticed that when I was booking since I assumed that this is common thing and it should always be present all around the hotels. So don’t be me and read all statements before booking and unpleasant surprises won’t meet you.

Nice stay in Freiburg

Nice spacious room. Very nice bathroom, toilet was in separate room which was very convenient for 3 of us. We had one double bed and one bunk bed in our room . It's located on busy street,but we didn't hear any noise,perhaps because windows of our room were facing the side street,but also probably because they used good noise eliminating windows Bunk bed was very comfortable even for me . I am 6"2' and didn't have any problems to fit in that bed. Hotel is either new or remodeled and offered us everything we were looking for. It has underground garage parking avaliable for 18 euros which is quiet reasonable for Freiburg . Reception area was very nice,they offered breakfast for 14 euros I guess, but we didn't take that option. There is an ALDI store right next to the hotel which is very convenient especially for families with smaller children if you need to buy anything. Great hotel overall and we will stay there if we will be in that area again.
