Cycling in the Black Forest

Free regular bikes and plenty to choose from, excellent idea for those travelling without and wanting to explore the Black Forrest area, not just Freiburg. Also relatively inexpensive electric bikes available for daily hire. Very spacious and light room with big bathroom, huge windows, good views. Good selection of healthy breakfast choices, helpful staff.

The online access key solution didn't work for us. Instructions to close all other sites and clear cache didn't work. For late night arrivals great idea but needs to work seamlessly, otherwise too stressful as unable to test it before arriving at the hotel (it should apparently work when close to the property/hotel). Limited parking spaces at peak times - this is not mentioned on booking.com, makes you anxious. At the breakfast bar you have to ask for eggs, more yogurt when the buffet runs out of both, this should be offered as soon as you arrive at the restaurant.

Hammer's bike hotel is just wonderful. Clean, friendly, a great value and in a darling neighborhood with all the essentials just minutes of walking nearby. Bike focused with an easy ride ( or tram or bus) to downtown.

Great hotel not too far from the city center (about 30 mins walking). Nice view from the balcony. Breakfast was superb. Max is very responsive and welcoming. We had an amazing stay and we would gladly choose this hotel again.

We were traveling with our family and stayed at the Bikehotel. The location is just outside Freiburg in a quiet village with good connections to the city. Max was very welcome, friendly, answering our questions and giving us indications/ help when needed. the hotel is very clean and well maintained, we enjoyed the breakfast and the Christmas cookies 😊.

Μία όμορφη διαμονή στο Φράιμπουργκ

Πολύ ωραίο και μεγάλο δωμάτιο με σαλονάκι. Το μπάνιο πολύ λειτουργικό και ζεστό. Η κυρία στο πρωινό πολύ εξυπηρετική. Και το κυριότερο για εμάς ελεύθερο πάρκινγκ για το αυτοκίνητο. Επίσης δίπλα σε στάση λεωφορείου σε 15 λεπτά είσαι στο κέντρο της πόλης.

Einfaches, gutes Hotel mit super nettem Personal und einem guten Angebot.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und nett und das Angebot einfach aber mit Liebe zubereitet Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam und nett. Das späte CheckIn mit dem digitalen Code hat hervorragend funktioniert.

Die Kirchenglocken nebenan war sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig

Solides einfaches Zimmer, behinderten gerecht, Balkon, großzügiges Bad, alles sehr schlicht, gutes Frühstück, auf Wunsch verschiedene Eierspeisen, guter Kaffee, sehr freundlicher Service, ausreichend Parkplätze

Zimmer nicht geruchsneutral, alles ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, alles online, jedoch sind die Dokumente auf dem Tresen, die man aber so nicht auffinden kann, besser im Zimmer deponieren.

Habe ein schönes großes Zimmer für mich erhalten. Ruhig nach hinten raus gelegen. Gut ausgestattet. Modern eingerichtet. Frühstücksbüffet war vielfältig.

Das Zimmer war sauber, aber in den Ecken auf den Randleisten Staub, Spinnweben an den Wänden. Unter dem Waschbecken waren doch ein paar unschöne Ecken. Die Brausegarnitur ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Fernsehempfang war sehr gestört.

Das Zimmer war schön gross, und sehr ruhig, man schaut auf den kleinen Ortskern von Merzhausen, mit dem Bürgerforum, Apotheke, Bäckerei und Metzgerei in der Nähe... ( Rewe und ein sehr guter Gasthof in der Nähe) Kostenlose Parkplätze ! nicht selbstverständlich in Freiburg. Zum Frühstück gibt es frisch und Bestellung: Rührei Omelette, oder gekochte Eier, Spiegeleier...wie gewünscht. Für Fahrradbegeisterte einen Biker-Raum, und diversen Biker-Service :-)

Bella, inconsueta sistemazione in una struttura moderna a un passo dalla città di Friburgo

Eccellente esperienza in questo particolare hotel, pensato principalmente per i ciclisti. Bella struttura, eccellente camera, ottima colazione. Tutto pulitissimo, anche perché la struttura pare molto recente.

È andato tutto oltre alle mie aspettative, non mi viene in mente nulla che i gestori possano cambiare (ex: la posizione)

Bike Hotel ohne Fahrräder

Recht ruhige Lage mit guter Busanbindung. Apartments sind sehr großzügig geschnitten. Leider stimmt die Beschreibung bei Booking nicht mit den Tatsachen überein. Es ist nur ein großes Zimmer, das große Doppelbett steht wenige Meter vom Schlafsofa entfernt. Es ist kein separates Schlafzimmer vorhanden! Ansonsten sind die Appartements gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war gut, und das freundliche Personal hat stets versucht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Im Vorfeld hatte ich angefragt, ob wir 5 Citybikes ausleihen könnten, wie in der Hotelbeschreibung angeboten. Es wurde uns zugesagt, dass 5 Räder für uns zurückgehalten werden... Leider waren bei unserer Ankunft keine Räder verfügbar. Im Fahrradkeller standen insgesamt 7 Fahrräder, von denen nur 2 tatsächlich fahrbereit waren. Trotz freundlicher Bemühungen des Personals, ist es uns gemeinsam nicht gelungen, 5 fahrbereite Fahrräder zusammen zu bringen. Dies ist unserer Meinung nach, eines Bike Hotels nicht würdig! Leider bietet das Hotel auch keine KONUS-Gästekarte an, mit der man kostenlos Bus/Bahn fahren kann.

WLAN ist verbesserungsfähig Radkartenmaterial vor Ort wäre auch schön.
