Only recommend to stay one night

Central located

Good location. Parking available in the parking lot for 18 euro per day. Nice breakfast. The room was too hot and the reception told us to open the window; as a result, it was noisy because of trains, people screaming, and cars. The pillows are very soft. The room is modern, at least.

Functional but pricey hotel

The hotel was clean and functional for its purpose (close to the railway station)

It is overpriced for the quite simple and generic, lacking of character rooms. The staircase leading to the rooms was a bit strange.

the location was just in the hauptbahnof so perfect after being tired by train travel

the cooling was not proper, the ac was not working for whole night. the tv only had german channels just one bbc for people who don’t know German. the breakfast was not very great, just average

Free and easy stay in Freiburg

We spent 2 nights here and checked into our standard twin room with ease. The hotel is on the doorstep of the Freiburg Bahnhof (station) and so day trips via public trains were most convenient. Despite this, no noise from trains or traffic can be heard in the room because of the sound-proof windows. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room 401 is very near the lift but again, it was not an issue with regards to noise. Moreover, the room window is north-facing and so there were no problems arising from heat from the setting western sun.

There was no provision of an electric kettle in the room nor complimentary beverages. Not sure if this was a Covid-19 counter-measure. English language programs via satellite TV was limited.

A good city centre hotel

The hotel is in an excellent location just outside the main train station and in walking distance of the old town and all the sights. The breakfast was good with a large variety of savoury and sweet options. The beds were comfy and the rooms were quiet.

The room was slightly small and the bathroom was tiny.
