What I liked most about the stay was the location. It felt incredibly remote and private, which made it easy to switch off fully. There was plenty of quiet time to relax, and the walk to the waterfall (main attraction) wasn't too far from the accommodation.
The waterfall was gushing, and all you could hear were the birds, which made the whole experience feel peaceful.
The location offers the chance to see the Milky Way clearly, without the light pollution of city life. (Picture below)
Miriam was really helpful and was ready to assist with anything we needed.
Go with an open mind and enjoy the place!
One downside was that the accommodation differed from what was shown in the pictures. It wasn’t a major issue, but the original unit featured was right by the small dam, which would have made the stay feel a bit more special, as that was my motivation to book the accommodation along with the waterfall. As a photographer, that setting would have been a real highlight.

The bathroom outside, especially if travelling in the evenings. Any chance of a toilet that flushes?

location was good
bedding excellent
nice views from the stoep
beds to small.
there were bars on the bathroom window but not on any others, given that this is SA i would have preferred the same bars on all windows ... and 'trelli type doors' elsewhere... because it was stiflingly hot at night, let alone during the day.
