Furniture slightly outdated and could definitely recommend owners to include comfortable sunbeds.

Stunning surroundings and very easy to find. All you need for a short stay. The heaters were very welcome in the cold

We just couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up even though the staff member did try numerous times. But it was still lovely

The surrounds

The Opstal is a property used for events and, I guess, occasionally rented out. The kitchen smells and, as stated in the description, is set up for industrial catering. Fridges and freezers were full of food stored there, and there were no smaller pots… cooking utensils were suited for mass cooking. The lounge was stuffy. Furniture on the veranda dirty. There is a freezer outside the kitchen used to store ice to be sold to the other guests in the cottages so staff walks up and down, resulting in no privacy. Bedrooms are poorly maintained. Most had no bedside lights or missing bulbs. On our last night we had no hot water as the gas ran out. We won’t return.
