Bethel House - Self Catering

It was exceptionally clean and spacious. It was peaceful and felt very safe. We loved the small safe enclosed garden area for the dog. The host Diedre was so lovely, attentive and very helpful. The cotton bedding was crisp and hotel luxurious. The beds were firm and very comfi. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Our doggo had a blast and we appreciated the little gate at the top of the stairs to keep her out of the living area when needed.

The kitchen would benefit from more utensils like a whisk and serving spoons. A coffee machine for pod users and a French press would be lovely conveniences for coffee lovers. Non slip rubber rug runners or strips under the rugs would be advisable as the rugs were a little treacherous and could result in some nasty accidents. We would have preferred it being closer to the beach but it wasn't a train smash. Small heaters for the bedrooms for the winter months would be great. We would have loved access to the jacuzzi as the nights were very cold and it would have been fun for our group. Handwash would be an added bonus.

Everything one needs for a relaxed holiday all in one place..whether it be summer or winter the house caters for it.. clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. Loved the communication between the hosts and myself, and the support and help in trying to sort out a tiny issue.

Broken front door lock...but fixed it myself

My family and I stayed at Bethel House in Lampiesbaai for three nights, and we absolutely loved it. The quietness of the area and the stunning natural surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We felt right at home and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere throughout. We’ll definitely be back again — highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the West Coast!
