About this house rental
A beautiful home from home for six in Britannia Beach Estate, 700 m from the Golden Mile, one of the longest safe swimming beaches on the West Coast. The indoor braai is the heart of the house: it warms the room on a cool evening and turns any night into a proper braai. Good beds, a kitchen that works, fibre wifi and Netflix, with sliding doors onto the outside area. Two queen rooms (one en suite) and a room with two singles. Double garage. Small dogs welcome by arrangement.
1. Maximum six overnight guests, the number on your booking. No additional overnight guests without written agreement from your host.
2. No parties or events. Day visitors are welcome in small numbers until 22:00.
3. Quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00. The estate is residential and sound carries, so please keep music and voices low outdoors at night.
4. No smoking or vaping inside the house. Outside, use the ashtray and never throw a butt into the garden or the dunes.
5. The indoor braai is the only fire. No fires on the beach or in the dunes, no fireworks, and no candles left burning.
6. Small dogs only, up to two, declared at booking. Dogs stay off the furniture and beds, are never left alone in the house, and are kept on a lead on the estate.
7. No wet swimming clothes, wet towels, wet dogs or sun cream on the couches, chairs and beds. Salt and water stain fabric permanently.
8. Damage beyond fair wear and tear is charged at replacement cost against the damage hold taken at booking. Please tell your host straight away when something breaks.
9. Britannia Beach Estate rules apply: drive slowly, park only in the garage and driveway, and keep the gate code private.
10. Lock the doors and close the windows when you go out.
11. Water is scarce on this coast. Keep showers short and report any dripping tap.
12. Check out by 10:00. Late check out may be available on request the day before.
13. A serious breach, in particular a party, dangerous use of fire, or noise after a warning, may end the stay without refund.
