Very relaxing and peaceful

The breakfast was great and the location was stunning. The hosts were also very friendly and polite. We will definitely return. Next time for a longer period.

The water was disconnected while I was in shower. Had a lunch appointment and we could not freshen up. No fault of the their's but however was disappointed

Nice accommodation with an amazing view over the sea

The house had an amazing view over the sea. The host Justin was excellent and made a very nice breakfast every morning. Accommodation was very close within walking distance to the sea.

Beautiful and homely

Duncan and Marina are such a nice couple who provided us with a beautiful accommodation with direct access to the beach and a homely breakfast (loved the homemade blueberry muffins!). We also got great recommendations for the rest of our trip. We would love to have had more time to spend there since it is a perfect spot for a few days of rest (but don't expect warm seawater).

Great couple running this beach hotel, Good energie, friendly and enthusiastic. Wonderfull location at/near the beach with small pool, comfortable communal kitchen and lounge with superb views. It’s located near Patersnoster about 2,5h drive from Cape Town.

Great break location of the beaten track

Perfect location on the beach, very clean and comfortable, lots of space - private and shared- to feel at home and hosts very friendly and ready to help.

The small pool is more a jacuzzi (without the bubbles) than a pool, no shops or restaurants around, so be prepared- and book in advance if coming during high season.

Beautiful view. Everything was beautiful. We got complimentary rusks, that was great. It was our anniversary, and they gave us a plate with carrot cake. That was very special and super good.

The rooms are close to one another, so you can hear the guest next you. It had a TV in a communal room and fridge. Normally with guest houses, you have your own small fridge in your room and your own TV.

The best joint in Shelly Point!

The host was there to greet me and show me around. Immediately made me feel super at home. On the beach, beautiful view and if you want to have a braai instead of going out, those facilities are there. I would recommend the fire at the venue option, the view and atmosphere is spectacular.

Absolutely nice beach stay

Comfortable room with a really nice shower, the balcony had a great view. Our hosts were friendly and informative. The breakfast was good breakfast. Easy access to beach. Overall really nice stay.

Was a fabulous spot for an overnight stay in our case. Perfect for a relaxing time away.

Perfectly located - on the beach, 2 minute (maybe) walk into the water. Breakfast was great, especially the granola. But it was the little extras in the room that made it better - enough teabags, milk,coffee (instant and ground) and rusks; water with fresh lemon slice; beach towels, hairdryer. Everything one could need for a stay away from home at a B&B.

A beach stay in the most stunning location with everything that one could possibly need and more. The bedrooms were all stunning all with views of the ocean, The beds were all queen or double and very good, Multiple lounges and seating areas where one could gather to chat or spaces to just be alone and read a book.

Superb

The views, the space and being so close the beach were all winning attributes of the home. My kids loved having the pool to cool off in and play in. Having the option to book some suppers was a big treat and the food was delicious. We will hopefully return to this spot in the future.

The kitchen could do with sharper knives. There were few light fittings that did not work which needs attention. Nothing that would stop us from returning.

The hosts were lovely, and available if needed. The stay was extremely comfortable, with even beach towels and extra camping chairs and umbrellas available in each room. The view is even more spectacular than expected!

Upholstery in outside areas could be better maintained, as show signs of staining and and cushions are no longer as comfortable as they used to be.

We loved everything!! The facility with all its great creature comforts was more than what we expected. The view was breathtaking the beds extra comfy... the list goes on.
