The ample space, the rooms, the quietness, the pools and the dam.
The couches were slightly old and sagging and there wasn’t a decent mop. We also ran out of dishwashing liquid and black bin bags.

It was so much more than the description on the website. Beautiful views over dam, complementary wood, checking in via whatsapp etc. Cannot wait to go back again!

The setting and views are truly one of a kind. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing family getaway, and dogs are welcome too. Guests can enjoy a rowing boat on the dam, and fishing is also allowed. The sunsets are breathtaking, and the spacious lawn offers plenty of room to play and unwind.
Service and communication of the hosts were very good!
We are a family of five and stayed in Cedarberg House. Unfortunately, considering the price, a few aspects were quite disappointing:
• The dining room table only seats four people;
• The living room also only accommodates seats for four;
• The lighting in the living room is too dim for reading;
• There is no undercover braai area for rainy weather;
• One of the oven plates is not working, and some of the pans are in poor condition.
