We loved the Zebra's in our back yard. They came to greet us every morning.
It would have been great to have some charcoal and fire lighters already bought and placed in cottage. This is something that cannot be bought in small quantities and could be provided by cottage owner.

What a place to stay! The gardens and location of the property were fabulous and lived up to expectations. We loved the peacefulness and stunning mountain scenery, and when the zebras popped by, it really was the cherry on the cake. Our toddler loved them and explored the gardens. The open plan living space was perfect for our needs with everything we needed in the kitchen. The patio was very large, and we loved sitting out in the evenings listening to the sound of the animals as it got dark. We loved the fact there was no TV.
The freezer door wasn't there, so our ice blocks didn't really freeze.

Spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind, with a layout that makes the stay feel easy and enjoyable. Overlooking the mountain and being able to see the wildlife truly adds to the overall experience. When the power went out, the property was well prepared with an inverter to keep everything running, and the hosts were great at checking in and keeping us updated about the outage caused by the fires.
Unfortunately, the inverter didn’t power the fridge, and we ended up having to throw away some food — luckily it wasn’t too much.

Beautiful, quiet location with animal reserve. Excellent value for money. Very friendly host.
For the money, it is of course a little rudimentary but it had all we needed and we had no complaints or issues.
