Pros • Good base to explore Elgin wine region • Good communication and access • Well located with lovely scenic view • Good security • Good privacy from other farm cortages • Pleasantly decorated • Well equipped for self catering • Comfortable beds • Lovely farm walks l
Cons • Fan in main bedroom not working • Chairs and sofa a bit upright and uncomfortable for really relaxing • Sliding door towards water area difficult to lock • Highway noise may detract from restful escape - take ear plugs • Its a working farm so audible hum of tractors • Situated overlooking a body of water very nearby so lots of insects and tiny miggies at twilight • Hooks behind bathroom door would be useful

Love the location. Private little pond. Amazing for dogs that love to swim. Tons of space and opportunity to walk the farm. Great wine farms just down the road. Indoor and outdoor braai for summer and winter.
Second bedroom only has a bath. Nothing else.

We wanted a weekend where we could recharge and rest. Our stay provided exactly that, our cottage provided a cosy feeling were you could relax and enjoy the nature around you. We went for a walk around the farm and admired all the apple trees. We will definitely be back!
