The stay was awesome.

I loved everything about this; the massage was the best bonus. I would have loved to get into the pool, but the water was a little too cold and not heated as advertised, but rather according to the weather temperature.

This is what I call R&R... got some Real Rest and Relaxation.

I loved everything about the Sunset Lodge and we will definitely be back. Check in was quick and easy.

There was nothing I did not like. Maybe just a suggestion to have a stove or air fryer in the unit for self-catering meals.

Sorry had no breakfast

Manager seemed under pressure possibly because of workload. He was there early in the morning and late the evening. Bedding had mark on his response was the must have ironed something wet on it, but it was a stain. The TV was switching on and off possibly a Wi-Fi connection. Pillows need to be more comfortable and microwave needs to be updated.

GREAT HOTEL

I liked that it was more than what you see in photos. The place is so clean when you arrive and rooms are spacious along with the bathrooms. The restaurant attached is a nice touch too we ate there every night. Was my first time here and not last.

I think only down side is that it's right next to main road so if door open can hear cars pass by but wasn't big issue.

For a time-out weekend away, this is the perfect destination.

The Harbour View restaurant linked to the property was one of the best in St Helena - we tried all. The steak (rare) was cooked to perfection and the Eisbein was really phenomenal. The lodge itself had a lovely ambience. Loved the Fenshui little garden, the indoor swimming pool was attractive and the gym a bonus. I really appreciated that there was a place to have an outdoor BBQ if we wanted. The friendly staff were very accommodating and helpful. The 30 minute massage was also really good .

Because ST Helena Bay is so peaceful, felt Lodge could have provided more information on "What to Do / What is Happening" in the neighbouring towns. Being winter we understood that this was not possible.

Super clean, comfortable bed, hot shower. Coffee etc available in room. Martin at the front desk is just WOW! Great value for money Restaurant on site (although run by other company)for lovely dinner.

The onlyy down part: it is on the main road of St Helena and opposite a petrol station. Unfortunately the night we were there, there was extremely load music being played in the really early hours of the morning from across the road which is NOT the fault of the lodge, but if you are a light sleeper this is going to bother you.

Room was lovely, neat, and clean. Enjoyed the convenience of the Restaurant and Spa, really enjoyed the back massage. Didn't get to swim in the heated swimming pool as I didn't pack my costume.

Our stay was good. The room was clean , bedding and towels fresh . My wife had a massage and said Demi was patient and caring. Martin was available and assisted promptly. Loved our 2 nights stay. Will stay there again!

De kamer was een beetje gedateerd maar wel schoon met een goed bed. De gratis massage was een bonus; eigenlijk waren we te laat hier voor, maar de masseuses kwamen speciaal voor ons terug. Restaurant naast hotel is prima.

point fort : le restaurant etait ouvert et repas tres bien sans devoir prendre la voiture.

chambre sur la rue; bryant tard le soir et tres tot le matin. quitte à revenir dans le coin je prefererais rester une nuit sur Paternoster qui semble plus calme et offre une diversite de restaurants

Ein sehr gepflegtes und professionelle geführtes Lodge. Im gleichen Gebäude auch sehr gutes Restaurant (auch für Frühstück) mit sehr höflichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeitern Alles hat geklappt

Da war live- Musik, störend war der Bass, dessen Dröhnen bis ins Zimmer drang
