I would like some space to put my toiletries in the bathroom, and the kettle was rusted on the inside - did not feel comfortable to drink that water. But these are really minors

Breede River bikers meets Elands Bay

The Surf Shop next to our aparrtment.They make the best cappuccinos.The beach a few steps away.The little town is veey small 2 streets. Mountains blends in well on the eye.They hsve a small museum interesting.

That there is no decent cafés.Best to bring your food with or stop at a town before riding/driving to Elandsbay

Spacious, neat apartment with partial seaview.

The apartment is in walking distance from the sea. It hast partial seaview from the balcony. The hotel and little shops are in walking distance. The host was very helpful to carry luggage up the stairs.

Great town to be if you are seeking a quiet and relaxed environment. Endless beach, a few cosy restaurants in and around the town, a stunning sunset.

The apartment could have invested in load-shedding protection. We faced a long (over a day) interruption of power due to some substation trouble.

Beautiful town. Beautiful apartment.

No on-suite bathrooms. No option for 2 double beds. Noise levels at night. Apart from the train that you expect already. People are extremely noisy (and sound travels through the small town) until the early hours of the morning.

even though it is a bit off the beaten track we enjoyed the tranquility and nice apartment

Although we stayed only one night we would recommend Fork West Apartments for a longer stay as well. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and very nicely decorated. The best view is from the sleeping room and we enjoyed waking up to the sound of the sea. We also highly recommend the small Cafe/restaurant just around the corner which served an excellent dinner.
