First time in Doringbaai, and Thornbay Accommodation seems like it is the place to be. It is always a treat staying at a small town accommodation where the hosts really do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. When you are travelling to such a remote area, you couldn't ask for more - it is fantastic.

So glad we discovered this gem on the West Coast. The hosts was very friendly and was knowledgeable about the surroundings. The property is right next to the ocean and you can hear and see the waves. The property had everything we needed. The town is very small but had everything we needed. Lunch at Fryers Cove was lovely. The decor in the property was very nautical.

The nearest to the wave sound's
Ariving on Sunday late around 16,00 we where left to scramble around for next morning breakfast, nothing was offered from the housekeeper, except to go to the last open restaurant and to arrange takeaway for breakfast with them
