The view from the balcony was of the bay and lighthouse, which was lovely. The accommodation was well equipped, and decorated on the theme of seaside/nautical. There was secure parking which was a bonus.

Sea views are amazing. The unit is VERY nautically decorated :-), and equipped with everything required for a comfortable short stay. The strong light in the braai is also a definite plus. Our hostess was extremely helpful, especially after some rain during one night caused a short circuit that took out the plugs - including the fridge. Our frozen stuff was taken out and put in the hosts' fridge/freezer until the problem was solved - which was sorted out quickly.
Potential guests intending to drive to Doringbaai via Lamberts Bay would be well advised to contact the hostess regarding the condition of the gravel road between Lamberts Bay and Doringbaai before attempting it with an ordinary sedan. In any event do NOT turn off that road as Google Maps might direct you - that turn off is a railway service road in a horrible condition.

Perfect location. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the sunset.
